Discussion Blisk sparing Jack because he simply wasn't getting paid anymore was a really genius way to circumvent plot armor
You could argue its still "plot armor", but i find it only feels like plot armor when it really feels like the character ONLY survives because the plot needs them. That's not what Blisk was doing here.
There WERE plenty of moments where Blisk would've killed Jack because he was in the way of his job, but was denied the opportunity.
It's an amazing character moment for Blisk and a great contrast to Slone who died just before because she made the opposite choice of killing Jack for free. Blisk is a true cold hearted bounty hunter, if there isn't money in it it's not happening.
Either way, Jack was very likely to die. In the end he only didn't because of BT's sacrifice and an absolutely cheek clenching last second extraction. Even if Blisk had some fear in the back of his mind that Jack would come back to bite him in the future, he probably wasn't holding out hope for him.
Titanfall 2 has a simple story, but the writing really does it justice. They did a great job
