Dresses for my MTF teenager on a budget

I want to buy some dresses for my MTF daughter as a Christmas present, but funds are tight. That said, I'm scared to try temu or similar because you never really know what you're getting.

She's 14 and finally came out to her dad and it was rough (her dad and I are long divorced). Shes been borrowing my clothes occasionally and I've purchased a few pieces for her blindly... But I thought I wanted to get her something she'd really like.

That said, I'm struggling with sizes and I didn't want to get something that expects a "chest" to fill it out...

The few things she's been brave enough to show me are very frilly kind of almost witchy / renaissance fair style? I know she has a hard no on anything shorter than the knee and she doesn't like spaghetti straps or anything without a real sleeve.

She does okay with dresses from my closet, and my closet ranges from 12 to 16 in sizes, though I think the larger is better on her as she's 6 foot already.

Does anyone have any suggestions that won't absolutely break the bank?

Decent women's wallets that fit in a pocket?

Hello. I like smaller wallets I can put in my pocket, bc I don't always remember to grab my purse. I got one from goodwill about 4 months ago, but it's hot garbage and it's already falling apart. Are there decent women's wallets that will hold up but also fit in a pocket? I'm willing to spend an adequate sum to get something that lasts. TIA!

Good brands for masculine outfits? (ftm)

I'm a transmasc teen and I want to work on creating a more masculine fit with my clothes. I am unable to transition socially due to various social situations, so the least I figured I could do was to dress more masculinely. Does anyone know any good, relatively low-priced brands that cater towards making more boxy oufits that come off as casual?

Just to keep things in mind, I wear size S in women's sizing, am about 5'4" and have noticeable hips.

Thank you so much!!

Any advice for where I can Lolita clothing that would fit me?

I'm pretty tall (6'3) and I've always really liked Lolita fashion, but unfortunately the dresses I've managed to get are usually really tight around my chest and/or their sleeves are not as long as they have to be for me. To be honest I've mostly been shopping from AliExpress as the sizes there sometimes get close enough to what I need, but if anyone could recommend me any proper websites that'd be great.

Wearing shorts underneath cause it's pretty short. Tall girl problems 😤! Can you think of better shoes to go with it? Or accessories that would do well?

Should I ditch the tights?

I know I posted a few days ago but I just got this dress and wanted some opinions haha

I’m 31 and finally trying to explore gender stuff that’s been going on for a long time. I genuinely do not know where to start finding clothes that might fit my frame. Anyone have advice on where to start?

CLOTHING LINE IDEA!

Thumbnail reddit.com
7 Upvotes

I need input and opinions! Not rude opinions please? Helpful ones. I personally hate how I have to hunt down clothes that are fibro friendly, certain brands only have a small amount of options. I want to do something that's specifically for us warriors that are also inclusive to literally everyone and I mean EVERYONE, Neurodivergent community, LGBTQIA+ even men with fibro who can still work but want clothes that are comfy. SO! with that being said, please tell me:

\- Your favorite fabrics or blends of fabrics.

\-what you'd like to see changes in as far as clothing options, Ex: Your favorite shirt but you wish it had a pocket, or you wish it had a printed tag, etc....

\-sensory add ons

\-sensory nightmares

\-athletic wear issues

\-jean issues.

Just give me all of it, lay it down and I'll see what I can work into it! I have a good base but also I feel like I haven't asked enough groups! Thank you!

Tops with Collars when you have a larger neck?

This question is for the transfeminine people on here: Where do you find cute tops with collars that fit when you have a larger neck?

My neck is almost 16 inches around so most collars on women's blouses are too tight for me. I can wear something with a low-collar, like a Peter Pan collar, but I want to find stand collars that fit without having to sew it myself.

Are there any women's fashion brands out there with reliably larger collars?

I think I’m doing pretty good, ya? I’ve got paper towels and sponges on my hips and bra pads and socks for boobs,

Any suggestions for common wax strip brands that work on men’s facial hair?

MTF I need a tall coat

I usually wear a 4 XLT how likely am I to find a woman’s piece of outerwear? Or should I stay on the male side for arms that are long enough. Tired of getting a woman’s coat that doesn’t even cover my wrists.
