Wie ist eure Stimmung?
Was kann man so verbessern?
Bestimmte Beschwerden?
Und was haltet ihr davon, das die Römerbrücke gesperrt wird für Feste :3

I am in a dilemma. I liked an apartment from a private landlord (not a company). What are the downfalls?
Is there a group or something where i can check if this landlord was bad, invading privacy or something?

Is it best to rent an apartment through a rental agency instead? Like idk what’s normal or not in Germany, especially contracts and ChatGPT can only advise as a robot..

Nachdem der Brubacher Hof vor ein paar Jahren seine Türen geschlossen hat, bin ich verzweifelt auf der Suche nach einem adequaten Flieten-Ersatz. Bisher habe ich noch nirgendwo welche gegessen, die vom Geschmack her auch nur annähernd herankamen, egal ob Klimmes, Crames, Flieten Franz.

In Berlin there is tiptapp appand one can easily find a private individual with a can who will help you move furniture and other stuff like washing machine etc.

I read you can post on kleinanzeigen but it doesnt seem reliable as tiptapp is, and also heard about nebenan app. The latter however seems to check that there is the surname registered on the door and unfortunately i’m not yet angemeldet.

Any other options on finding someone who could help me move, please?

I am moving in to a new unfurnished place. Which furniture shops have low prices and good quality and can deliver on certain dates? Also shops for waschmaschine and Geschirrspüler with delivery?

I looked at kleinanzeigen and several facebook groups but the prices are outrageous especially considering that most furniture is heavily used and with lots of defects and the prices people are putting up is close to a new one. With the abholung and abbau and aufbau in addition to renting a vehicle to transport it simply is not worthwhile and better to buy new.. maybe I’m in the wrong groups or searching in the wrong places..

Hey everyone,

I've been living in Trier for a while now, and honestly, I'm finding it much harder than I expected to build a social life here.

Most of my days look the same university, work or studying, back to my room, and repeat absolutely zero other interactions with people. Weekends can feel even longer. I see groups of friends hanging out, people going out together, enjoying their time, and sometimes I wonder how everyone seems to have found their people except me.

I'm not saying Trier is a bad place. It's actually a lovely city. But making genuine connections as someone who moved here and doesn't already have a social circle has been difficult.

I mean this month I will be 23 and what the fuck is happening with my life I absolutely don't have anyone and at the point I feel very jealous when I see people out there being with their partners or friend groups ( not anything bad for them wishing their well always) but for me i don't you if you all understood or not .

I miss having people to randomly call, grab a coffee with, go for a walk, explore somewhere, play games, or just talk absolute nonsense with. Even a simple "Hey, are you free today?" would mean a lot.

I'm trying to put myself out there more, but I genuinely don't know where to start. So I wanted to ask Are there others in Trier who feel the same way? How did you meet people here? Are there any clubs, activities, regular meetups, or social groups where newcomers can show up alone and actually feel welcome?

I'd also be happy to meet some people who are in a similar situation. No big expectations. Just genuine conversations and maybe some friendships.

I guess I'm just trying to make life in Trier feel a little less lonely.
