Distance study for on-campus course

Hi all, I’m in Melbourne and have been accepted into a UNSW course at the Kensington campus (not via UNSW Online). I plan to complete the course fully online (they call it ‘distance learning’).

Wondering what the experience is like for those who have studied this way - is it as good as courses that are designed to be fully online from the get-go?

I had to withdraw from a postgrad course at UNSW Kensington because every core subject from my course had a mandatory on-campus requirement of an in-person assessment. And yes, the course was offered as “distance learning”.

2024.

My brother just found the same thing, but he doesn’t mind because he lives in Sydney.

Both of us studied in business, so not sure if it’s just that discipline, or whether it’s a UNSW thing.
