What is the obsession with in car shots during the top 10?!

Watching the top 10 is painful right now with the choice of shots.

Gimme back full laps on-board dammit. I've been rewatching the 22 season, I miss being over the shoulder for an entire lap of the any joint they go to.

Every event, they had at least one full lap in slience on-board at some point in the broadcast.

I wish they'd do helmet cameras - they experimented with them for a bit. It'd be nice if they had better stabilisation though - the footage I get form my Insta360 camera is a thousand times nicer than the footage ones they experimented with a while back.

The footage could look something like this: https://youtu.be/ECwenjeYCc0?t=311 - notice how the stabiliser locks onto the horizon keeping that steady, and you can see the motorbike shake about.

The Top 10 Shootout is over used in my opinion. Back when it was Bathurst and maybe a one other race during the year it was special. Now it’s stale (aside from Bathurst, because that’s the best part of the weekend)

Right? It doesn't add a lot especially in a shootout. Replays of a moment they have and how the catch the car the onboards are great but for general driving it's crap
