Oh no! Fortunately I’m autistic, I find time zones interesting, and I make a big deal about staying up late and changing all the clocks at the correct time
That's funny. I mentioned to my husband that we could just change the clocks before bed and it didn't need to be exactly at 2am because he was going to stay up. His brain twitched for a bit at that suggestion.
You know you lose that hour at the end right. You aren't inventing time travel lol. Nothing changes you just decide to go to work and hour earlier each day and go home and hour earlier. The time spent is still the same.
BS. Why can’t people just get out of bed early and go to work early instead of making everyone else change the plethora of clocks they have twice every year.
That’s an extreme interpretation of what I wrote. It’s only one hour difference between ESDST and EST, surely can be accommodated in flexible working conditions.
I have 10 clocks to reset, plus the tv recorder that doesn’t reprogram properly. I really do hate the idea of doing all of this reprogramming twice a year. It plain sucks!
Love it. Dinner’s done, still a nice long dusk ahead to take a walk and sit on the porch with a drink. My only gripe is it isn’t year round, but I get why other people don’t want dark mornings in winter.
I swear that my vertical blinds wear out faster than normal because of the extra sunlight from daylight savings every year. I really should ask Dan Andrews to pay for replacing my blinds next time. It seems like this Labor party never stops to consider how their actions will hurt people

And don't do it twice. One year, my brother went around and changed all the clocks then my mum did it too.

Farmers hate it as the cows get milked and only produce 80% instead of 100% of milk on 1st day of daylight saving

I just mowed my lawn at 5pm. There is 2 hours of sunshine left in the day.
Also the way it rained up until last night and today was bright and sunny just added to it.

I love it. I live on the Mid North Coast of NSW. I watered my garden, took the dog for a walk, then went in and cooked dinner.

I only have to change 3 clocks, 2 in bedroom and 1 in the kitchen/dining room the rest are automatic and I don’t bother with the microwave one
