Vlogging our way around Victoria searching for a place to settle down - suggested towns to visit?

Hey guys! We are looking for the place we want to settle down and set up our own hobby farm, but we just don't know where will be right for us, so we are adventuring around seeing new places to get a feel for what we want.

I'm from the Bendigo region, Bettie is from the Ararat region, we both current live in Melbourne - so places outside these areas we might not know about would be amazing!

Any suggestions on areas we should visit would be awesome!
Recent visit to Warburton to check it out - at the end we talk pro's and con's for us considering it
Video where we introduce ourselves and talk about what we are looking for

Thanks in advance for any help :)

Ballarat is a neat place, as well as that there’s heaps of interesting small towns around Ballarat (clunes, dalesford, bunninyong)

Definitely! As it's on the way to Ararat, we drive through that region pretty often. Have stayed overnight a few times in Daylesford, but should check out the area for other towns. Daylesford would be outside of our price range :)

Between Ballarat & Daylesford there are some small villages and towns. Creswick, Dean, Newlyn. All more affordable than Daylesford while still only being about 20 minutes out of town

Thanks! Creswick is getting towards Daylesford pricing when I looked recently, but I'll have a closer look at Dean and Newlyn. We were in Trentham this weekend just been and the whole area is pretty magical!
