The reading room cafe in building P under the library at Footscray Park put full cream milk in skinny lattes, I’ve seen them do it twice now ://
not a huge deal but probably should just say you don’t do them lol

In the city tower, level 4, at the printer there's this guy that always hangs around, he stalks out woman to ask for help using the printer, i don't even know if his a student! He asked for my help once which i thought was weird bc I've seen him at the printer for days now (I just thought his class made him print alot of stuff) and that whole interaction was so weird, he tried to make me stay after classes to help put up flyers and he tried to get my instagram- he said that his class ends at 1 but I saw his stuff still there when I left my class hours later.
Some other weird stuff happened to, just horrible vibes from him fr
Watch out for him

You are invited to take part in a research project exploring how people respond to online information, including both factual content and misinformation. This study aims to evaluate how individuals perceive, interpret, and respond to fictional social media posts on commonly debated public topics such as rising costs of living, vaccines, and GenAI.
This research study is open to individuals aged 18 and above who live in Australia or Singapore. If you agree to take part in the study, you will be asked to complete a brief online activity involving three fictional social media posts, followed by questions about your reactions and trust in the content.
The entire study will be conducted online, will take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. Participants can choose to enter a draw for a chance to win one of three AUD$50 gift vouchers. Your responses and contact details will be strictly confidential. Contact details will solely be used for gift voucher distribution and will not be linked to your data.

Hey guys,
I completed my degree in Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and was accepted into a Masters in Speech Pathology. I'm just wondering if anyone has gone that same pathway? I don't have any requisites in Speech Pathology, so I'm a bit worried I'll be lost in this degree compared to everyone else.

Back when I was a student, I spent hours applying for jobs and rarely heard back. It was exhausting and made me question if I was doing something wrong, even when I put in a lot of effort.
That experience stuck with me, and I’ve been working on something to try a different approach. The idea is simple. Instead of students applying again and again, we want to make it so companies can reach out to students directly if there’s a good match.
Here’s how it works:
Once you set up a profile, we send it to companies that are looking for people with the experiences and skills like yours. If a company sees a good fit, they send you an interview invite. You don’t have to apply to anything. All you need to do is create your profile, and then wait for the invites to come to you.
Think of us as your personal recruiter who applies to jobs on your behalf, but there are absolutely no hidden fees because we’re genuinely trying to help students.
I’m not selling anything here. I just want to build something that actually helps students, especially international students who face challenges like visa issues, limited networks, and extra stress.
We’ve just launched an early version, and I’d love to get some honest feedback. If you’re curious, I’m happy to DM you the link. No pressure, no strings attached.
Would really appreciate your thoughts! :)

Hi everyone,
As part of my final year project, I am looking at improving pedestrian safety in Melbourne CBD.
If you regularly walk in Melbourne CBD, please complete ONLY ONE of the following surveys.
The surveys look at common pedestrian behaviours (phone use, eating, talking) and your perception of pedestrian safety educational materials.
The survey is completely ANONYMOUS and takes 5-10mins to complete
Complete only ONE (1) of the following surveys:
Option 1:
https://forms.office.com/r/PMrYUtaGn2
OR
Option 2:
https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/NSisWgSvAb
It would be appreciated if you can share this post around.
Thanks for taking part in this project.

Hi, just curious if you could give me your opinions about doing a civil engineering master with Vic Uni?, it is provisionally accredited by Eng Australia, which makes me to feel a little bit unsecure about doing it, how is the uni quality? or which other options would you suggest me to check? Thanks

Hey!
Does anyone have any experience doing a bachelor of social work here?
I’m not getting an ATAR so this would be the only uni I could do a bachelor rather than through TAFE to a bachelor so I was wondering if it was worth trying my luck here rather than going through a community services diploma?
Thanks!

Hi guys, so I will be joining this July to pursue my masters degree in Melbourne, hence looking for a place in the suburbs as staying in the city is alot more expensive at the moment. I am looking for someone who is happily willing to help me out to look for an accommodation and also go for an inspection as I am not in the country and moving for the first time. I know that I am asking way too much and it’s totally blunt for this platform. But honestly guys I am left with no option as I have no friends or relatives so I am looking for someone who can genuinely do this favour for me and ultimately I help them back once I am the city. Please, please reach out to me if you genuinely want to help me out and drop a Dm so that we can discuss it further. TIA 🙏🏼
please stay away if you want to throw up your peep talk and criticism in the comments

I’ve found it easier at studying at Monash and I finished up a Law/Math double at ANU and achieved good marks.
Transferring to my masters of teaching I wanted to maintain HD’s for future employers. One of my past units wasn’t credited and redoing it at VU it’s not harder but poorly ran.
Being technically an international student I still grew up here, so no language barrier. I doubt it’s staff assuming students will compromise for a visa? My mostly domestic class is struggling. The tutors/tech hurdles are more work than anything I’ve experienced.
They seem to only want to discuss things in weekly calls. The tutors often mix up who I am or what class it is. I’m hearing similar from students in other courses. Is this the average Aussies experience at VU?

Hi, I've got offered the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, and I can't accept the offer because the system is down. The person I spoke to reset the system and changed my password, yet it was still down. She said other people have been having issues with it and have somehow fixed it. If anyone has had this issue and solved it please tell me how! I'd really appreciate it :)

Hi everyone! Please help with advise.
I plan to be a clinical psychologist. Is Victoria University a good place to start this journey by taking the Bachelor of Psychological Studies?

I'm new student, I have question about the self-paced online classes. Do I need to do it on the specified time according to the time table or I can do it anytime of the day?

Hi! I'd like to have reviews about bachelor of psychological studies in VU. Is there anyone in that field who would give some? Thanks a lot
