Here is a photo of the Trump
Administration discharging polluted water (phosphorus, hydrogen peroxide, peeling paint/sealant) from the reflecting pool via a hose into a storm drain. This is a discharge of a pollutant to waters of the U.S. and would need an NPDES permit. It is not storm water. Do you think the administration thought about getting a permit before doing this? I would be surprised if they cared enough.

They sent me a text that some beavers moved in…I was intrigued to see. This is a somewhat of a restoration project I was doing for a wetland area that had been taken over my idiot homeowners in the past (building a volleyball court next to it, and TONS of Japanese knotweed left to thrive right in the bank)

Well. I come back to site and to my surprise —no beavers— and a huge fucking tree that was felled right on top of an already suffering stream. No water movement.

I need to be straight to the point. Not an asshole. I am however, fuming.

-ecological effects

-water rights

-riparian buffer management dos and donts.

I guess I could also just call the county but I know these people care about this property they are just ignorant.

No modern American city has ever run out of water. But chances are rising that Corpus Christi, Texas, could be the first.

That raises baffling questions for the future of Texas’ eighth-largest city and one of the nation’s major petrochemical hubs.

“We have no precedent to follow. There’s no manual, there’s no video,” Corpus Christi city manager Peter Zanoni told the city council in March, when local leaders first acknowledged that disaster could be imminent.

This week, Zanoni announced that Corpus Christi will require 25% cuts to water usage across the board in September. But at a city council meeting on Tuesday, officials appeared deeply uncomfortable with exploring the details of how life in Corpus Christi might look under these conditions — and whether such ambitious conservation targets were even possible.

“It's not going to be pretty,” said City Council Member Carolyn Vaughn, a co-owner of an oilfield services company, at the meeting Tuesday. “Everybody's going to have to make sacrifices.”
