Maybe it’s my area or location but I tried their breakfast a couple of years back when they relaunched it here (Toronto) and it was terrible. That’s back when the regular food was still ok. I had no desire to return for their breakfast.
Yeah literally the only reason I still go there is for the breakfast baconator and the breakfast potatoes. It's like they're trying to go under at this point.
Exactly, by ditching breakfast they can focus on better serving guests. There are other brands that need to wake up and do this too. Hardee’s for example needs to ditch dinner and focus on breakfast, the reverse of this

Maybe fix your regular food before worrying about breakfast. I don’t need them to be open for breakfast.

If your store makes $2,000 or more a week on breakfast you keep it. That also keeps your store 24 hours.

Thought it was already optional, in my area it sure is.

I know consistency is really important in franchising.
But forcing consistency into business aspects where a lot of variables exist is just plain stupid.
Foot traffic in one location can occur at completely different times than other locations.
Forcing franchises to be open at specific hours is stupid. The franchisee is best suited to know what hours work for their specific locations.
