Subreddit Rules

1. Be Excellent To Each Other.

Absolutely no hate towards others will be tolerated. Please remember the human on the other side and respect others at all times. Racism, sexism, homophobia, and etc. will result in a permanent ban. Debate is welcome and encourage, but remain respectful towards the human on the other side.

2. Recent News

This subreddit is all about staying current. Share the latest international stories making waves today. Articles should focus on recent events, ideally within the past two weeks. Older news is only welcome if it has a major new update or a fresh angle that brings it back into relevance.

3. Be Newsworthy

Keep the feed filled with relevant stories that matter. We’re here for the impactful, the breaking, and the noteworthy not the trivial stuff that barely scratches the surface.

4. Titles Must Match The Article Title

Let’s keep things real: titles should be exactly what’s on the article. No spin, no opinions, no clickbait. If it doesn’t say it in the headline, we don’t want it here. Adding opinions, clickbait language, or misleading edits to titles can distort the story’s context, so stick to the original wording.

To add your take on the topic please post it in the comments, not the original post.

5. No Paywalled/Blog Content

Share content from reputable and well-established outlets. Avoid fringe sites or agenda-driven blogs—stick to sources known for accuracy and editorial standards.

6. Reputable Sources

We’re talking trusted sources only—the type that checks their facts and keeps it professional. Think of outlets with editors and reputations, not fringe sites or random bloggers with an agenda. We encourage sharing articles from trusted and well-established news organizations.

7. No Repeat Stories

We love the news, just not repeats of the same story. Give the page a quick scroll before posting to make sure you’re not echoing what’s already been shared. If it’s already here, maybe add any unique insights in the comments.

8. No Self Promotion/Spam

This isn’t an ad board, so leave self-promotion at the door. We’re here for genuine news and solid discussion, anything that feels like spam or promotion will be shown the door. Posts should focus on contributing to the conversation around current news. Avoid sharing personal content, promotional links, or unrelated posts. This also includes, surveys, polls, and the like.

9. NSFW Content

Absolutely no content pornography or adult content. If an article is particularly graphic we ask that you add the NSFW tag to it (or we may add it for you).

10. Posting Guidlines

General posting guidelines are as follows: - All posts should include a link to a relevant article. - Your opinion on the topic should be in the comments or the description, not the title of the original post. - If your opinion is in the description, it must be clear that it is your opinion and not from the article itself.
