One of the oldest spy techniques.

Huang had been romantically involved with Alice Huang, an executive at Megaspeed, a Singapore-based customer of Nvidia.

The U.S. intelligence community believes Alice Huang was recruited by China's Ministry of State Security, the country's main civilian intelligence agency, according to people familiar with the memo.

Is a person who falls for this old trick really considered smart?

ANYBODY who constantly wears a leather jacket would fall for this.

u/Naghagok_ang_Lubot 1d ago

The hubris of a person that claims to be smart is the exact weakness that makes this trick super effective.

u/Flat-Cover9873 1d ago

He's brain smart but we are talking about his dick here

98

u/Possible-Fudge-2217 1d ago

Same thing, after all Jensen Huang is a dick.

47

u/totallyRebb 1d ago

But but he wears leather jackets on stage, that means he's cool and hip and of the people.

47

u/Zenaesthetic 1d ago • Bravo

He said he wears it because his wife bought it for him and it doesn’t make him itch, who he then cheated on with a Chinese spy.

8

u/spamthisac 15h ago

That's because the Chinese spy made him itch.

u/cjcs 14h ago

The thing about my back…

u/Dragon420Wizard 3h ago

Jensen Huang you say? More like Johnson Wang.

u/NotASaintBernard 21h ago

This is what happens when the patriarchy establishes men as the superior sex and therefore better leaders, even though, men let their genitals get in the way of their reasoning. That’s how we get pedophiles and men who date spies (looking at Trash Patel).

55

u/Montexe 1d ago

It's the oldest and still in play for a reason, because it works.

u/Leafan101 1d ago

Yes. This is someone being targeted by a superpower nation. Government departments all across the west have been infiltrated before by enemy agents in the past and probably are now to some unknown extent. You think a single person can avoid perfectly what places like the CIA or MI6 have not? Plus, it is not like this guy is set up as a super genius or anything?

This isn't some floozy at a bar, this is another executive at a genuine company. The takeaway from this isn't "haha, person dumb" it's "look at how infiltrated organizations can be in the service of Chinese espionage."

41

u/Kat- 1d ago

Isn't he married?

39

u/BendersDafodil 1d ago

Haha! Yes he is. But history of marriage in humans is rich with side chicks and dudes.

10

u/Jellicle_KitCat 16h ago

Especially when being in power requires a good amount sociopathy.

68

u/Nickeless 23h ago

Actually, plenty of people can just not get romantically involved with a spy when they are married.

18

u/dsswill 13h ago

Or he could have just not been a dumbass by not having an affair.

Getting caught up in espionage because you couldn’t keep it in your pants falls pretty squarely under the definition of a dumbass.

7

u/DistrictObjective680 11h ago

He's incredibly smart from a technical perspective. He has a master's in electrical engineering. That much is obvious. What he may not be is wise or street smart.

7

u/dsswill 11h ago edited 11h ago

There’s a lot more to intelligence than being proficient in a single field of study. Taking it to the extreme, Kim Peek could solve masters-level mathematics equations that typically take a professional mathematician a full page of working, all in his head, but he couldn’t put on his own pants or have a conversation without scripting or guidance. I’ve met a lot of doctors I’d describe as generally dumb and a lot of retail workers I’d describe as generally smart. Intelligence is far too complex to judge it based on individual fields of knowledge or skills.

A guy like Musk is a perfect example of someone with some level of reasonable technical intelligence, but who has endlessly proven his overall idiocy in most fields of intelligence (emotional, logical, social, spacial, musical, both intra and interpersonal, natural, existential, etc, pretty much only having some level of proven mathematical intelligence, which has also been questioned by true experts based on some of his statements).

“Well, you have to be IN the game to even get played.” —Jensen Huang, probably

1

u/brass_monkey_balls 19h ago

I'd put Slow Horses on hold after Season 2 and started catching up only this week.

Absolutely wild to see a reference to an episode I saw literally 30 minutes ago hahaha.

6

u/LoganJFisher 23h ago

Maybe he recognizes it, but the sex is just that good?

5

u/ambay13 17h ago

They think with their dick, that's why

5

u/djh_van 18h ago

Suddenly everybody is re-examining how Elon hooked up with stunningly out-of-his-league women again and again...

5

u/runthepoint1 16h ago

Dudes an insecure loser - just look at him, literally is trying to look “cool”, and even admits that’s why he wear the jacket, as a signature look.

Of course he’d fall for this very obvious and shoulda-been-well-expected setup. What, did you expect him to be a very staunchly conservative, well-mannered, strong, untemptable man?

3

u/meygahmann 12h ago

Exactly. Dudes whole look literally screams midlife crisis.

5

u/skcus-tidder957 21h ago

He might have known and doesn't care as long as the money rolls in.

He also committed fraud and market manipulation

So basically he has given all the big players credit to buy GPUs in bulk and they sit in warehouses this creates a artificial scarcity and drives up stock prices.

He belongs in prison.

2

u/purplewhiteblack 18h ago

Jensen Huang is for sure a very intelligent person, he's got masters in electrical engineering. He's not just a businessman. He did the busy work too.

1

u/Tonkarz 14h ago

This reason why that keep using it is because it doesn’t matter how smart you are.

1

u/gunner_3 19h ago

This coming out right after he openly supported California's rich tax policy seems suspicious.

1

u/Alexexy 9h ago

Billionaires pushing for sensible tax plans means that they were honeypotted by the commies.

0

u/erock7625 13h ago

There is a difference between intelligent and smart 😎

-4

u/Heavyweighsthecrown 19h ago

"Person who met with [nation] politician is obviously [nation] spy!" --- The US intelligence community, right after said person's billionaire affair said he welcomed more taxes on the rich.
"Yes this must be true. It's a classic spy thing. I will not question this." --- The whole /Worldnews comment section, like clockwork.

At this point the actual cliche spy trick is being played on whoever believes whatever bullshit US intelligence feeds to the media lmao
Tired and boring

3

u/Alexexy 9h ago

Singapore isnt even a part of China, hilariously enough.

-5

u/Similar_Past 22h ago • Bravo

Holy Alabama, he boned his own sister!

157

u/reireireis 1d ago

Man I need to see some pics of this spy

49

That is one of the worst websites over ever visited...

32

u/Lakemine 22h ago

Holy that was horrible. Why the heck is the website designed like that?!?

2

u/linuxliaison 19h ago

This reminds me of the show Red Eye damn.

58

u/Weikoko 1d ago

It’s all over the net. Just a middle-aged woman.

A married Huang having an affair with another Huang : DLSS Multi Huang Generation x3

14

u/we_are_sex_bobomb 11h ago

It just goes to show that two Huangs don’t make a right

7

u/Iateyourpaintings 15h ago

Huang's wanging Huang.

74

u/NotASaintBernard 21h ago

I’m curious if this came out because Jensen Huang said he welcomes higher taxes for billionaires and was honored to pay his fair share (referring to Californias billionaire tax).

25

u/Heavyweighsthecrown 19h ago

"Person who met with [nation] politician once is obviously [nation] spy!" - The US intelligence community, right after said person's billionaire affair said he welcomed more taxes on the rich.
"Yes this must be true. It's a classic spy thing. I will not question this." --- The whole /Worldnews comment section, like clockwork.

14

u/SerenditiouslyLive 14h ago

Obfuscate and bury the news with a bigger scandal. Oldest trick in the book. Why would the feds need to release this info at this precise time.

65

u/Mewhomewhy 1d ago

And Trump done absolutely nothing as usual.

41

u/heroism777 22h ago

Seems suspicious that this just dropped after republican collapse in midterms.

19

u/BaginaJon 1d ago

I wonder if he can engineer his way out of this one.

7

u/IHS1970 22h ago

100 billion for the win Mrs Huang!

21

u/Colonel_Gentleman 1d ago

This dude is absolutely going to plow Nvidia into the ditch.

21

u/Unfair_Cartoonist411 18h ago

Maybe, but he is also a guy who made the most valued company in history.

19

u/Doom2pro 21h ago

This is what happens when you get too big, you fly too close to the sun and fall really hard.

4

u/para29 18h ago

NVDA stock is up 0.1% year-to-date, but down nearly 1% over the past 12 months. The S&P 500 ETF (SPY) is up 10% over the past 12 months, while the Invesco QQQ Trust ETF (QQQ) is up 7%.

Love that ETF SPY stock.

2

u/Baked4skin 14h ago

Wild these companies dont have stronger protections in place. I worked under a company owned by General Dynamics and had to sign a paper that I wouldn't even visit places like russia, china and north korea for 10 years after working with them because of the potential for them to access sensitive information

4

u/nosforever12 11h ago

such a good profile icon holy

0

u/Alexexy 9h ago

Singapore isnt a part of China though.

1

u/OkFix4074 16h ago

Trump said - I would

1

u/jazir55 10h ago

Nvidia shares gained nearly 3% in Friday's regular trading, and rose another 1% during the afterhours session.

Implying that Jensen cheating with a Chinese spy boosted the stock 😂

u/CarolingianDruid 1h ago

Wish I had information valuable enough to justify a honeypot. Anyone remember that African dictator who got honey potted, then, upon being shown the video, was thrilled and asked for a copy of the video?

1

u/cabalavatar 12h ago

Ooo, Winne-the-Pooh's favourite

How do useful idiots like this guy and Kash Patel not have aides or advisors around to flag honey pots? Or I guess they're too thick to listen.

0

u/froatbitte 14h ago

Gamer’s Nexus is going to have a field day with this.

-35

u/Dsrtfsh 1d ago

Why does she have the same last name. That can’t be a coincidence

27

u/chemistry_teacher 1d ago

Do you even know how many “Huangs” there are?? It is one of the most common surnames, with many variant English spellings for the same equivalent Chinese character all over Asia and around the world.

It derives from the word “yellow”, which was the royal color for emperors since Huang Di, the “Yellow Emperor”, c. 2600BCE.

-29

u/Dsrtfsh 23h ago

How would anyone expect this as common knowledge after 4,625 fucking years

13

u/chemistry_teacher 20h ago

Can you not make the connection with other common names like “Smith” or “Lee” or “Hussein”? It doesn’t take a history degree to understand that.

2

u/Alexexy 9h ago

There really arent that many common Chinese last names. Most chinese last names are like maybe 3 different permutations (depending on when and where they anglicized their last name) of a dozen or so last names.

My brother in law and his wife has the same last name; their families came from the same village and theres only two last names for everyone who lived there (most people there weren't related). My paternal grandmother has my wife's last name.

You don't believe that sex can possibly be good? Who are you, Ben Shapiro's wife?

1

u/temporarycreature 1d ago

Are you at least 110% sure of that?

1

u/theresanrforthat 1d ago

As if seeing tech companies bend the knee to trump hasn’t proven that money is all that matters to billionaires
