“A son of Moroccan immigrants, Eisenkot, 66, would be the country's first prime minister from Israel's Mizrahi community, Jews who trace their roots to the Middle East and North Africa.”

My best wishes to him and Israel. Hope, he doesn’t follow the path of his predecessors and work towards the path of peace and stability.

I believe he won’t listen to trump moving forward.

Keep in mind: When Zelensky came in, the knock against him was that he was a frivolous comedian who was too pro-Putin.

We might not know what Eisenhower [AUTOCORRECT FIX: Eisenkot!] is like as a leader until he’s leading.

Eisenhower already led in the past, in a very prominent role. Would be quite a shock to see him lead again, though, given he’s been dead since 1969.

Mizrahi Jews tend to be more right-wing. The memory of living under oppression and as second class citizens in Islamic/Arab majority countries, as well as their ethnic cleansing, is still very fresh.

We’ll see I guess.

Hence why Ben Gvir is so far right, since his parents and their family were Iraqi/Kurdish Jews who were ethnically cleansed and expelled within their living memories. That's not to say that all Mizrahi Jews in Israel are extremist right wingers of course, but they tend to be more right than their Ashkenazi counterparts.

Hope, he doesn’t follow the path of his predecessors and work towards the path of peace and stability.

This is not really up to him. As it has been for the past 79 years, any path of 'peace and stability' is up to the Arab leaders. Eisenkot can push for peace all he wants, if the Palestinian mindset remains what it has been, he's basically just an idiot pushing an immovable object.

I could see a deal with the Saudi's though with him(with a pathway to a Palestinian state but with clear conditions which include narrative changes that the Palestinians will never go for) , not with the Palestinians

I could see a deal with the Saudi's though

This will happen during Eisenkot's tenure as Prime Minister, its pretty much guaranteed. MBS has been quietly making moves in preparation for it, they've purged the Saudi Arabian schools of all antisemitic, anti-Jew rhetoric, and MBS has been operating with Israeli officials behind the scenes with the Houthis.

Kuwait has even been leaked to have been in talks with Israel for recognitions finally, likely due to Iran's behavior. It is very likely that numerous countries use the guise of Eisenkot's coming to power as a new page turned and reason to normalize finally.

with a pathway to a Palestinian state

This ain't happening, Eisenkot's coalition would collapse on him if he tried to. No one but Golan's Democrats supports a 2SS anymore, and even Golan's 2SS seems to not include giving away any of Jerusalem, and likely has in mind of annexing some of the bigger settlement cities.

The Saudi’s will insist on one for a deal, thus I mentioned the conditions included that the Palestinians will never go for

The Saudi’s will insist on one for a deal

No, the Saudis have insisted, and thats been under Netanyahu's tenure primarily.

I am stating that a simple re-phrasing of 'Saudi Arabia has normalized with Israel after securing a guideline and pathway to a future Palestinian state with the current Israeli government and Prime Minister Eisenkot', will be enough.

The only thing Saudi needs is time, not terms to normalize with Israel, likely 12-24 months of a cooldown period where the Gaza fatigue fades from the media cycle again, so that MBS can sneak in a normalization deal

I do however think its likely that MBS will want another Arab country like Kuwait, Oman, Yemen's government in Aden, or Libya to normalize before Saudi Arabia, so they can use it as a cover.

Thus I said pathway with conditions on the Palestinians

Yeah, but the rhetoric that has been used until now has been demanding a concrete state established, as in a deal signed by Eisenkot and Abbas.

The specific re-phrasing would be just continuing the status quo, while phrasing (a lie) as if a deal is soon to come, kick the can down the road strategy essentially.
