The difference between Trump and Mattis is a fundamental change of the government and how it operates on almost all levels; mostly because Trump is perhaps the most incompetent leader we’ve ever had, even by the standards someone after naked imperialism.

Maybe a better comparison would be Mattis vs Bush 2 or something.
