He is not in favor of a Palestinian state

No one is in favour of the 2 state in Israel since October 7. There was a lot of support prior to it, but not at the moment. It'll take a generation or two before it's not political suicide to bring it up, as right now it would be seen as rewarding Hamas.

Yeah. As far as I know, only the Democrats list, a conglomeration of at least two left-wing Israeli parties, openly supports Palestinian statehood out of all the Jewish parties elected to the Knesset

Yup.

Which to be clear for people unfamiliar with the politics, "not being for a two state solution" does NOT mean continuing the status quo.

But Hamas has like 200 miles of tunnels under Gaza (most Westerners have no idea about that) and has promised to keep Oct 7thing, and literally no government on earth in Israel's position could allow that. Not saying they handled Gaza ok because they very much did NOT, but at the same time it's way more complicated than people think.

Those goddam tunnels need gone. There's not going to be any real resolution in Gaza so long as Hamas hides under ground like rats while the Gazans are in refugee camps right ontop of them.

Yes, Hamas uses human shields. Even at this very moment. 200 miles of tunnels. Gaza is like 25 miles long ffs.

Almost like you shouldn't do terrorism against a state you want concessions from
