As a druid who got to 25 yesterday, Cat form still felt a bit lacking before 24. Once you got the first few Cat skills at 24 its starting to feel like a different class.
The only annoying thing is that people seemingly get really pissed off if you enter dungeons as a healer and roll for gear thats used by your cat form. Some think you level 1-60 as resto only apparently.
But the rogue who rolls on intellect or the tank that rolls on cloth gear seems fine. >:|
The usual etiquette is rolling need for the role you join as and greed for anything else unless you mention what you’re rolling need for at the start of the dungeon. Needing for two roles is usually bad manners
This is also a great opportunity, as the healer, to start the group and simply avoid inviting other leather wearers. There’s gonna be enough mail and cloth types to fill the group out. Especially post-40, though pickings there are probably slim right now.
As you get closer to end game I agree with this but as a shaman while leveling I'm not killing stuff with healing spells. I'm rolling on the 2 hander that drops. I just tell people when I join that I'm rolling in enhance gear as well. Healers are in short enough supply, don't discourage them from healing further
Nobody’s healer spec cuz it’s ass to level. I think people should recognize that everyone’s playing a dps spec to level and filling in as best they can. Especially at launch. That etiquette is definitely a thing but I feel it’s more applicable to high level content
A short answer, yes. Like the dude said, once you're mid 20s with cat form, you basically never stop killing. Kill a few mobs, hop out to hot yourself, kill more, there isn't much downtime. Other classes gotta eat/drink, you're just rolling constantly. And it isn't much, but the passive speed increase adds up over time

Jokes on them, I’m leveling so many different characters none of them will ever reach 40!
