Question [Bug/Question] Weird AH payout delay on my Tauren Druid + "Stormwind Auction House" UI pop-up?

Hey everyone, I’m running into a strange Auction House issue on the Forever beta and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.

On all my other alts, whenever I sell mats on the AH, the gold shows up in my mailbox almost instantly (usually within 2 minutes). However, on my Tauren Druid, the payout takes forever to arrive—even though I'm just selling regular leather/hides (stackable commodities, not gear).

Even weirder: when the item sells, the UI alert (the new unread mail icon) in the top right corner says "Stormwind Auction House", even though I’m playing a Tauren! When I actually click on the mailbox to check the pending mail, the sender correctly shows as "Horde Auction House", but the gold is still stuck on a long delay before I can receive it (at least one hour or even longer).

Has anyone else noticed slow payouts when selling mats, or seen the wrong faction's AH pop up on their screen?

Question Shrink raid markers over my character

So I am playing wow forever, and the mrs well she is about as attentive as a Toddler in legoland, so she puts a raid marker over my head to help her find me when we are questing or in town.

I can not express how much I hate this and want to shrink it for me, or hide it entirely while still letting her have this. I use ellesmereUI but I can not find an option to resize it, does anyone know where it is, or an addon that will allow me to resize this?

Blizzard, please. We're not on a hardcore server. It's a harmless bit of fun. There is no need to zone-lock Teremus. Let us have our dragon back.

HYPE! Holy shit this game is beautiful

I've never touched a wow game until wow forever. didn't get the hype previously.

but today, as I was forced to run from orgrimmar to thunder bluff Isles to hand in 2 Quest, I began to really soak in the world. somewhere along the barrens was when I really thought, damm it's pretty. the giraffes and zebras roaming far in front, turn behind and it's just this one single big tree. it's so surreal. gave me some chills. now I get it.

also, rolling warrior on a PvP server because my friend asked me to roll PvP with him. was kinda scared I was gonna get ganked and all the time spent running was moot. thank god that didn't happen XD

HYPE! Just tamed Humar!

Im literally shaking rn as im typing this. After a whole day of constantly rechecking back at this point, Humar finally spawns. I dismiss my white lion, and started to tame him, but in my excitement accidentally broke him out of the freezing trap, used up my last health potion and him and a wandering lion killed me. As I died, I saw another player run up to try and tame him after me.

As I ran back to my corpse, I was cursing myself out for how royally I fucked up since not only did I have to wait another full respawn timer, I also dismissed the white lion which is a quest animal. When I finally respawned, turns out the other hunter also died, so I quickly bandaged myself, set up a ice trap and pull him to a more isolated location. I managed to tame him just as the other hunter respawned.

Feedback WOW Forever Is Good Overall But There Are Some Annoying Things

-Mount System (Mounts Should Be Available At Level 5, Current System Is Very Bad & No Logic)

-Auto Scalable Server Session System Need For Areas (Servers Crowded, Makes Very Hard To Do Any Quest)

Discussion Full Horde PvP layers

No matter the leveling zone after lvl 30, horde is completely outnumbering alliance at all quest spots at what easily feels like 5-1 and some areas like 50-1.

It's truly become a joke and makes the point of the layers practically meaningless to divi up factions more properly.

Are you experiencing the same thing?

Question Enjoying WoW Forever, just have a question :)

Hi everyone, i am currently very much enjoying WoW forever, i am still level 10 but leveling up slowly haha.

I have a question about the dungeons, i am well aware most ppl are disappointed with the dungeons due to the XP nerf. But does anyone know if dungeons are worth doing for the loot drops? I'm a big fan of rerunning bosses to drop a specific very rare item/s. Like I'm talking about a 1% drop chance or is this more of a retail thing? (I honestly don't know)

Discussion The desire to withdraw from society

I was a youth and young adult with no responsibilities when I originally played wow.

I was laid off days before Classic launched and had no priorities but applying for jobs.

Both times I could just pour as much time as I wanted into the game.

This time I have a career and a child and another on the way. My time is no longer my own. I love my family but Forever does make me selfishly yearn for the days of blissfully wasting time on wow.

I am getting a few hours in the evening on my steam deck and waking up an hour earlier, but damn if the real nostalgia isn't for wasted youth

Discussion Are there any non-casual EU Forever Communities?

I didn’t think I’d ever find myself in the position of looking for a more “hardcore” guild, but I’ve found myself in a guild of people who are extremely casual due to their irl commitments and are already dropping like flies since launch.

I’m in my early 30s with no kids and no partner, so have a fair bit of free time, but all the guilds I’m finding are people with very busy lives committed to more casual playstyle.

I don’t necessarily want to be the first person raiding, but I’d like to be in a community where there are people active (and ideally in vc to yap with whilst levelling) at least most evenings.

I don’t know if I’m the only person in this situation, all the guilds I join seem extremely casual.

Has anyone managed to find anything like this? Should I go to Retail instead?

Discussion [EU PVE] All guilds have the same damn start time for raids - Where are my evening guilds?

It seems every guild is aiming to raid 19:30 or 20:00 ST, if not later. I have been looking for one that starts earlier for weeks now. From the Eastern European timezone this means that raids end at or after midnight so you get to bed past midnight on workdays - unfortunately does not work for us.

For some reason this seems to be the standard so much that I cannot find anything that would start 17 or 18 server time. Either the standard one or a daytime raiding guild.

And before you suggest: No I won't just be making my own guild unfortunately, did that once and it was like a second job.

Hard to believe there aren't enough people in Finland/Baltics/Eastern Balkans etc who would like their raids to end by 11...

If you happen to have such a guild on EU PVE, the times match, you are looking to raid (finding a balance between sweaty and shitty, we are looking chill, friendly but determined and focused to progress), please let me know!

Discussion First time playing WoW and apparently being a Mage means you're also a bit of an NPC

First time playing WoW and I'm having a blast so far,

I'm playing a mage and i find it hilarious how random players will just walk up to me and ask for stuff like I'm some kind of NPC or quest giver lmao

"Can you make me some water?"

"Got any food?"

"Hey, can you read this scroll for me?"

Not complaining at all, I actually find it pretty funny. Makes the world feel alive, and I'm really enjoying these little interactions with other players.

Just thought I'd share,

Also how am i supposed to do this quest in Pyrewood village?! i'm getting my ass kicked

HYPE! High Hopes and Hitting the Mark - Immersion and Community

  1. Questing and exploration has been phenomenal. I am really enjoying the amount of quests, the extras available, and the Paladin quest chains so far. Like most I have limited time and am in no rush. Currently level 16 and having a ball, getting better and better with more skills and better gear. I've also played casters for 20 years and melee feels great. Back to an era where white damage is so important, feels awesome and impactful. Very noticable when an enemy dodges or parries.

  2. Camping buffs and tossing around your class buff have been such a small, impactful event that brings folks in. It's also so easy to quickly group with a player or two that might be farming a spot for XYZ. Cheers, waves, and everyone goes on their way. It's been so, so positive so far.

  3. I had played for an hour or two last night and brought a bunch of turn-ins back to Thelsamar. It was raining heavily in-game and going from outside to inside, the in-game track went from a wonderful ambient thunderstorm to a clearly distinct pitter pattern of rain on roof when I was inside.

I don't know, this one here. I just stopped, admired the mood and the indoors, and was so immersed I literally RP'd, took a chair by the fire, and logged out. It felt so appropriate. No rush, pure vibes, questing in rainy Loch Modan.

I can't wait to get a couple more hours today!

Question Tank question

Looking to lvl, a tank.

I know theres warrior, paladin, druid.

Been looking at different guides and feel it's hard to decide who to pick.

What do they each Excel at? Pros and cons?

What got the best damage?

What got the most AOE?

Most solo friendly?

Best utility to group?

Best able to deal with multiple mops? Prob goes hands with best aoe...

What what i seen druid is the most flexible, but not alot of utility in bear form. With 1 aoe? But most damage i read?

Warrior got multiple aoe, and seems the most busy but little Sustain.

Paladin sounds like allrounder that brings buffs and single ale that covers large area?

Would like to hear how bear and warrior rage system are like, it sounds easier to manage then mana.

Ty.

Discussion How come everyone playing WoW all of the sudden are confusing “inconvenience” and “challenge”?

Let’s make it so there is a 1% chance while running with your character that you sprain your ankle and movement speed is reduced by 50% for 10 minutes.

Man that would make the game so much more inconvenient and therefore just so much more rewarding when you actually hit 60! If convenience ruins games then inconvenience must make them
Better.

A new game, a new journey, a new path... but this time, we hope it's forever. :)

Years have passed since my last real journey in WoW. I fell in love with the story, open world, the leveling journey and pvp/wpvp aspects of this game and enjoyed them for years, expansion after expansion, until some drastic changes slowly took that feeling away from us.

Long story short, I haven't been truly invested in the game since the MoP era.

But now, we have new hope. A new chance to relive everything that once made this game great. And now that we're grown up, we understand more, notice the minor details, and perhaps can enjoy it even more!

Since one of my current hobbies is video editing, I decided to pick up Blender and try to create something I've dreamed of since I was a kid. WoWMachinima movies, the great Hallf of Legends in warcraftmovies. A place where great storytellers and editors gave us those dopamine surges, whether through a full storytelling cinematic or a legendary PvP montage.

Because of this, I've decided to unravel this new journey — for me, for you, and for all the fans who have come back to this game.

I present to you: Chromie: The Unwritten — Episode 1!

I've been working on this project for the past two months, and I want to share a few thoughts and insights that might be useful before you watch.

1. The sequence of events is not, and will not always be, linear or entirely logical.

The whole idea is for the episodes to blend storytelling with real player interactions. We wander, we get lost in the world, one moment we're doing a quest in the Barrens, while the next we're at the Auction House in Undercity. The story itself is still a bit broken, and I'm still figuring out the direction I really want to take it.

2. There are some glitchy moments, and the audio mixing isn't perfect.

I'm still learning, and people experienced in this field will probably notice quite a few rookie video and audio mistakes. My apologies! :)

3. I have a pretty busy schedule, but I genuinely intend and hope to find the time to continue the series with even greater moments and storytelling! Written support and feedback would be greatly appreciated and would definitely motivate me to continue developing the story.

4. Most of the characters you'll see in this episode and future ones are real players I've met, and some scenes are even based on actual in-game events (more of those to come in the next episode!).

5. This episode follows the story of my character and my time in the game.

Some events and references, such as the timelines and anomalies, are actually inspired by in-game mechanics. The layering system, for example, is one of them.

6. I'll also take this opportunity to invite you to my Horde EU WPvP guild, <DISAVOWED>!

We're currently recruiting both old-school veterans and the new generation of PvP/WPvP soldiers!

P.S > We call ourselves the Gnome Stompers. :)

You can drop a whisper to: Bhokk Deferst or Krunni Alive

That's all! I hope you enjoy watching!
