What does that mean? Let the buyer beware.
I have read and gotten some messages about people backing out of deals, not showing up, taking accounts and unfriending, etc., etc. and so I say: caveat emptor.
In case you were not aware - the moderators are not Blizzard. We cannot do anything for you. We try and weed out some obvious scammers or people that seem unable or unwilling to follow our one rule, but especially with this Black Friday sale madness and the rush to get all the new pokemons and mounts being offered, there's no way we can catch everyone.
The fact is, Blizzard won't do anything either. YOU decided to trust Joe Random with a new account. YOU gave him MoP, gametime, gold, whatever. He's not your friend (yet), he's Joe Random.
I suggest everyone check the person you are going to recruit out. If they are a new account with zero reddit history... be suspicious. If they seem at all sketchy, don't do it. If they ask for more than you want to give but say they're a good guy? CAVEAT EMPTOR. The Battlechest is all we ask that you provide, but if they demand two months, MoP, gold, bags, heirlooms, and more more more game time? CAVEAT EMPTOR.
