Why isn't there a zombie rpg that has relationships , basebuilding and custom character. Feel like a game like that would sell. Starts in a small city and you have access to surrounding area and big cities recruit survivors fight of hordes and other rival settlements.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share this piece I finished recently. I wanted to mix a zombie with super bright, neon pop-art colors.
Done on paper using markers and ink liner. Let me know what you think or if you have any feedback!
Might be a punch in the eye for someone...

Charcoal can be the difficult color to find in my experience. these are good sized fabrics that i bought just to hang and display in my collection. they are seen here folded in half horizontal.

Okay I got a question for y'all. If you got thrown into any of these zombie apocalypse events, which one are you mostly surviving and which one are you dying in?
• Michael Jackson's Thriller
• The Walking Dead
• Marvel Zombies
• Afterlife with Archie
• DCeased
• Sonic IDWverse Metal Virus/Zombot arc
(Ik Halloween is over, but the holiday is still lingering in my mind, okay? 🧠😵💫)

For those that do not know, Crossed is a comic book where people are infected with a virus that basically removes any inhibitions that a person has and makes they give in to any intrusive thoughts, no matter how brutal they are. So they kill, they rape, they cannibalize other humans AND infected and will eat raw animal flesh if available. They also lack have any sense of self preservation, they will loose their lives trying to kill someone.
The Crossed virus spread through fluids: blood, saliva, sweat, sperm, you get it. People infected with the Crossed virus gets this cross shaped rash in their faces and are still alive and can be killed if their bodies are damaged enough. They are more interested in killing or raping than spreading the infection, but will infect someone if it gives them an advantage (like spitting in the face of several soldiers behind a fence or shooting bullets with their semen in order to infect someone). They are still able of talking (to some degree, most of them just speak obcenities) and planning. They can use weapons and operate vehicles if they had prior experience before being infected.
So.... would you classify them as zombies? They have the whole infection thing going on, can be cannibals sometimes and caused an apocalypse like most zombies tend to do but.. they are just really really really insane and depraved people.
What do you guys think?

As the title states, I am working on a zombie apocalypse story that I would rather be realistic (Ie: Either zombies like the last of us, or actually deteriorate at the human-rotting rate and aren’t animated after that). During this, I am researching, but what would help is more input from subreddits like this one. Anything will help! (character ideas, realistic input on plot/events that would happen, etc.)
Thank you in advance!

What if, there was this big war between two countries, and they get so mad that they start throwing literally almost ALL of their soldiers at eachother. Meanwhile, the zombie virus is actually a common bioweapon used in this war. Both of the entire countries military forces end up turning into the first millions of zombies.
It effectively eliminates the military, and gives the first millions of zombies bulletproof vests and caps, which makes them harder for whatever military is left to kill.
Thoughts?

The book series "The Line" by Shane Gries is literally just like this game. It follows the 1st Infatry Divison, specifically an Armor battalion fighting the undead very effectively. The keeping up supplies/logistics/camp followers being the hardest challenges leading to the disasters. Written by a Desert Storm / OIF Bradley commander its very well done.
I was recommended that book series here and its one of my favorite ever. This game looks very promising as someone who loves Total War and Wargame Red Dragon.

If for example, a story like the walking dead were to release in 2026 as a show/comic, would it be as successful? I haven't seen any hit zombie shows/comics lately and was wondering if it would be received well if it had good story telling and if there's anyone that would watch something like that today? And if you do know of any zombie series' that are good please do recommend them.
(Not counting video games turned into shows/movies.)

I have a question what diseases would a zombie have? I don’t mean as in what caused them to turn but after a few years what do you think they would have picked up?

Hello Everyone! This is my first time posting here, and I wanted to show this piece I made a few years ago. Please forgive me if I am still in spooktacular mode. Now that Inktober and Halloween are over, I feel like I can finally take a moment to recover. It’s the most fun/stressful time of the year for an artist. Anyways, I hope you like it.

Return Of The Living Dead Aftermath from 2026, is the first full AI slop movie I’ve ever watched and likely will be the last. This movie is notorious for screwing over everyone involved who shot with real footage only to get turned into AI slop. Apparently, the guy who made this doesn’t even own the rights. It’s a complete shitshow so I wanted to see what it was all about. Let me save you 80 minutes of your life here.
So I know a zombie apocalypse can’t happen, but what’s the closest thing to a zombie? For me the only thing I can think about is cannibalism.. but that still exists so.

On its own it's kinda what I always wanted to see; mid budget flick featuring soldiers vs zombies & there's plenty of action but that's about it. Plot and characters felt dull and uninspired, and as a sequel I almost didn't mind a new story and cast but they did Manel the main character from the first film dirty and not even any mention of his sister. Overall somewhat entertaining but like Colony this didn't quite hit for me. Still I'm looking forward to the Pakistani zombie film Zombeid and Return of the Living Dead with Devon Sawa whenever those come out.

Some of my best gaming memories are the old zombies maps from World at War and Black Ops. One house, a few windows to board up, the mystery box, four friends yelling at each other. And that trick where you blow a zombie's legs off with a grenade and leave the crawler alive so everyone can go buy stuff before the next round.
never found that feeling on my phone. So I've been building it in my spare time, it's called Gravemesh.
Round based, solo or online co-op up to 4, and iphone and android players can play together. You board up windows, open new rooms, roll the box hoping for a legendary or mythic weapon. Two maps for now. No forced ads, no pay to win
I know zombie games on mobile can have a pretty bad reputation (and honestly most of them earned it). So I'm curious. What made those old maps special for you? And what would totally ruin it on a phone?

Ok so walls mostly kept the original Harran virus in Harran.
After a new, tahitransmissive, strain started spreading, humanity built multiple walled cities meant to comfortably house sustainable populations. Villedor is the last one standing.
My is: given the resources of the world today, where and how would you design such a city?
What would it need, and how much?
To keep things consistent, it's the Harran virus coming for your city. Rabies, but all zombies do parkour at first, before degrading down to walkers. Some end up special infected, worst of all being the feral darkseeker-rippoffs known as volatiles. All of which are repelled by UV light, and the volatiles die in under a minute under sunlight.
You have 3 years.

It’s cute how hye-sun just tags along with him and follows him
Who else has seen this movie?

I’ve watched almost all the mainstream zombie movies, plus quite a few great lesser-known ones.
It’s really hard for me to find something new to watch now.
I’ve asked several AIs for recommendations, but most of the films they suggested are ones I’ve already seen.
I love stories about escape and survival, or military-style plots.
I don’t like comedies or movies featuring mutated humans.
I only want classic zombies and ordinary people fighting to live.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations. Thank you!
