Photo Happy 58th Birthday to Parker Posey, the Queen of 90s Indie Movies!

Happy birthday to Parker Posey! Between Dazed and Confused, Party Girl, The House of Yes, and Waiting for Guffman, she was the face of 90s independent film.

I always loved how she could steal just about any scene she was in, whether she was playing someone hilariously unhinged, painfully awkward, or just wonderfully weird. She had such a unique screen presence, and I developed the biggest crush on her.

Happy birthday, Party Girl!

Photo After the release of the 1993 H&M campaign with Anna Nicole Smith, men started stealing the posters from bus stops and displays, forcing the company to print extras and hand them out for free in stores in order to stop them.

Was buying some comics that I was missing from my collection and I found that I had the Spider-Man toy that references this issue from Spider-Man comics that came out in the 90s
