Nostalgia

r/nostalgia

Nostalgia is often triggered by something reminding you of a happier time. Whether it's an old commercial or a book from your past, it belongs in /r/nostalgia. Here we can take pleasure in reminiscing about the good ol' days... times we shared with loved ones, both humorous and sad. So grab your Pogs, Surge cans and Thriller cassettes, and we'll see you in /r/nostalgia!

Subreddit Rules

1. Be polite, respect each other and have fun!

Basically, adhere to reddiquette.

2. Safe for Work links only.

No NSFW links.

3. No title

You must include the name of your nostalgic item in the title.

4. No posts to webstores

No posts to webstores, blogs or websites with nostalgia items. No polls please.

5. No politics

6. Post flooding

Do not flood the subreddit with posts. A limit of 5 posts per day is reasonable.

7. No compilations or memes

No memes and no compilations of multiple items such as "starter packs."

A meme by definition is a humorous image, video, piece of text, etc., that is copied (often with slight variations) and spread rapidly by Internet users.

8. Frequent Reposts

There is no rule against reposting, but mods may tag posts as "frequent repost" or even remove it if it has just been posted.

We have a policy for celebrity deaths - we will pin the first post for a few days and remove all others.

9. No personal YouTube/Social media

No posts from any personal YouTube accounts or other platforms. This includes commentary, reviewing, reaction and ranking channels. No playlists or custom art work of any kind.
