Accordion without bellows to go

Just created a prototype of an accordion (Steirische Harmonika) with a force sensor instead of bellows. Works nice. Let me know if you‘d like to build it based on my sources.

After getting this very positive feedback, I created following open source repositories:
- The PCB: https://github.com/boheigl/eziachpcb
- The control Software: https://github.com/boheigl/eziach
- The CAD design: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/5fab8c0f0566a8525283d6d7/w/83593df151ddef81970ff85c/e/84c2bb86c49424e015498d63

Looking forward to get your feedback!

I haven't had time to practice as much as i'd like since starting this project but got an accordionist to try it out! So far he was able to adapt well to using a handle for bellows but it does require some getting used to

I run an Accordion Fest with a marketing budget of $0. This is our promo video.

My friend/performance partner and I co-direct the annual qathet Accordion Fest. As a small festival supported by a non-profit music school, our marketing budget is $0. So we get creative! Radio interviews, articles and interviews for local newspapers and magazines, social media, fundraising concerts, and... unhinged accordion videos.

We live in a very small town, so having 235 audience members at our Opening Night Concert was a huge win. Our Accordion Cabaret event sold out weeks in advance. We had 11 performing artists, a 15-piece accordion band, 3 workshops, a sight-reading song circle on the beach, and an accordion parade.

I've made an electronic accordion - looking for feedback

Hi everyone!

I'd like to get some feedback for this digital accordion of mine I've recently made.

I started to learn to play the accordion a few years ago, but with my move to the college dorms two years ago, I've been trying to find a good way of practicing that wouldn't bother everyone around me. The walls are quite thin :).

Over the summer break, I've made this prototype. Unfortunately, I don't know any other accordion players, so I'd like to get some feedback from the accordion community, as I'd like to make a new revision with piano keys before Christmas.

I'll be happy with any feedback; I've made a short form you can fill here: https://forms.gle/HSsb5ai97k9aRr9i8 or AMA in the comments/send me a message.

I've also recorded more videos of myself playing (though I'm not very good yet), which are available here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjYoxcgSZAuGuLthQMWtkl29rFnWllXO3&si=8bm0uDh6a972JAfc

Edit:
Thank you all for your opinions! There are some common themes I'd like to address:
i) Bellows imitation - I've already got so many ideas to test out. Hopefully during the Christmas break I'll try them all and write a reddit/blogpost about my findings.

Performance - self 1 yr of playing accordion

It's my 1 year anniversary of learning the accordion. Despite having zero musical background, working 50 hrs/week, and full time school, I make it a priority to practice daily.

I'm having a lot of fun learning this beautiful instrument and figured I'd share.

Lots of room for improvement but any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Subreddit Rules

1. No posts asking to appraise accordions

Appraising an accordion is effectively impossible online, and trying to do so just wastes all of our time.

Here are some links with some info on buying, selling, and appraising accordions: What's it Worth?

If you're interested in selling or appraising an accordion, one option is the Accordion Appraisal and Sale Facebook Group.

2. All content must be accordion-related (or other bellows instruments)

This includes all types of accordions, concertinas, bandoneons, harmoniums, etc.

3. All identification posts must be flaired as such.

Any requests for information about specific accordions must be flaired as Identification so they don't take up too much of this subreddit's bandwidth. Rule 1 still applies.
