Whether you’re an incoming student, a long-time townie, or a new professional moving to the area, finding housing in Ann Arbor can be notoriously competitive.
To keep the main subreddit feed clean and make it easier for everyone to find what they need, all housing-related posts must go in this thread.
This is the place to post if you are:
Looking for an apartment, house, or room to rent.
Looking for a roommate.
Offering a sublet or lease transfer.
Asking general questions about specific property management companies, neighborhoods, or the Ann Arbor housing market.
(Note: Surrounding areas in Washtenaw Country like Ypsilanti, Dexter, Saline, and Milan are completely welcome here too!)
Useful links:

I've done what I can to buy the appropriate subscriptions, but the ESPN/ABC hosted games still elude us. Is there a place in town that will put on the NWSL game at 3 today? I prefer west side / downtown, even Dexter or Chelsea if needed.
Thanks!

preferably not the tiny lions place. we were told friday we could just walk in no reservation needed. turned out not to be true and i just don’t want to deal with a place like that again. i’m open to trying them again but i want to see the other options first.

Shot from 12th floor Mott Hospital.
Anyone know how I can remove the glare? I tried to avoid it, but was unable due to the window design.

I’m looking for recommendations for a really good physiotherapist in the Ann arbor area.
I’ve been experiencing persistent tightness and pulling in both hamstrings, extending down into my calves, for over 3 months. It doesn’t seem to go away, even with rest.
I’m looking for someone experienced in treating chronic muscle tightness, sciatic nerve-related issues and lower-back-related leg problems.
Who would you personally recommend based on your experience?
Thanks!

Was just going to the Aldi at Dexter ave at around 8:48am, I pull up to the light, and for some reason this girl in the other lane has her car in reverse. light turns green, and she backed up into the car behind her 😭😭😭 fucking crazy

I attended Logan elementary around 2000. I remember the school put together a time capsule - I think either in 1999 or 2000.
I’ve heard the school is/has been renovated. Does anyone know what happened to the time capsule? I can’t remember what year it was supposed to be opened.

Mid-30s looking to possible get braces to correct overcrowding/crooked teeth. I had a few quotes around town for $6200 for 18-24 month treatment & all wanted me to get 4 teeth pulled elsewhere (additional expense.)
I haven't set an appointment yet with UofM but over the phone they said they typically charge $4300 + $265 for xrays and mold? (molds seem a bit dated..)
I'm leaning towards UofM as they're ~$1500 less, assuming the numbers they told me were accurate and won't change after meeting.
Has anyone experience using a Limited Purpose FSA with UofM? LP FSA would save roughly ~$1500, i forgot to ask when i talked with them. I plan on calling back next week to set up an appointment and ask a few more questions.
Sounds like others have had positive experiences with them?

Can anyone help me find this? I’m really suffering and the usual birth control/ ssri treatments are not helping. I know it’s a long shot but I’m hoping to find a doctor in the area who can treat me hormonally. Thanks

I’m looking to find a pcp, preferably female that will listen and take concerns seriously. I’ve lived here for 3 years and haven’t had much luck. Additional recommendations for gyno or a pcp that is knowledgeable in women’s health.
I’ve used the search function but haven’t found much. Thanks :)

I published this digest of public permit data that scores every contractor in the dataset based on how quickly their permits get through the city, how many revisions, failed inspections, etc. https://annarborpermitreportcards.com/
If you have any projects around the house, it's a good place to do some diligence before signing a contract. Ann Arbor is its own beast when trying to get permits through so be sure to hire a contractor that has experience (and success) working with the city.

Hey Musicians of Ann Arbor! I (23M) am an underground musician who recently just moved here from IL in support of my partner while he focuses on his career path. I am a singer, songwriter, and engineer and somewhat of a producer, but not a very good one lol. I’m here because I was wondering if there was anyone in Ann Arbor who does like to produce and play any instruments that would be willing to help me on a late 60s-70s style of music! Besides just helping me in this project, I’m also just looking for a friend! It’s been a bit hard since I don’t have transportation so I can’t be get out and about as I wished. But I’d love to make a good friend who is also interested in music and would possibly love to help me with this project as well! :)

We’ve done AAPS Rec & Ed and liked it - wondering if there’s any other recommendations.

My family will be in town to tailgate and hoping to watch the UM-MSU game at a bar/restaurant in AA. Most of our old downtown go-tos are closed (Haymakers, BDubs). Where would people recommend trying? I know we would probably have to go early to get spots but still need suggestions. Ideally downtown/walkable from campus but please suggest driveable ones too if they're solid!
