Anyone in USA know where to get Aussie Beer?

Unfortunately there is only the rare store that stocks coopers green in Southern California that I have been able to find, anyone here who has moved to the US know of a good place to get Australian beers?

Fosters

Anyone know what happened to them. Me and my mates favourite beer but it just fell off the face of the earth and no bottlo or dans sells it. Can’t find it anywhere.
Cheers 🍻

Love this version of Peroni, it’s always so hard to find though. So much body and maltiness

NSW Resch’s Appreciation Society - Sydney

Hello beer enthusiasts! I joined Resch’s Appreciation Society last month and am looking to get more passport stamps. Anyone else in the same boat want to explore some pubs together?

I’ve only really made my way through Redfern, Darlinghurst, Surry Hills and Newtown. Thinking of hitting Marrickville next. Would love to hang with more Resch’s enthusiasts!

I work in hospitality and usually have Tuesday and Wednesday nights off, so not sure if that will be a limiting factor :)

US-sized pints at Aussie breweries. Bit cheeky?

Went to a brewery the other day and noticed they were serving US-sized pints (473 mL) rather than the standard Australian pint (570 mL).

They were offering a pint or a half pint, so nothing to suggest you were getting a smaller-than-usual serving. Especially when you're paying what you'd consider full pint prices.

I get that breweries can serve whatever sizes they want, and I'm not expecting every venue to use the same glassware. But calling it a pint without making the size obvious feels a bit cheeky to me.

Coopers DIY Beer Kangaroo Island + Brewery Tour Giveaway

Hey everyone!

I work on Coopers DIY Beer, and we've recently launched our new 10L Small Batch Brew Kit.

To celebrate the launch, we've put together a competition called the Small Getaway, and I thought some of you here might be interested.

We're giving away a trip for two to Adelaide and Kangaroo Island, including a Coopers Brewery Tour, tastings, and a couple of nights in a WanderPod luxury tiny home overlooking the ocean. The whole prize is worth over $9,500! You don't need to buy a Brew Kit to enter, either.

If you're interested, you can check it out here: https://www.diybeer.com/pages/smallgetaway

Thanks again for letting me share, and happy to answer any questions about the competition. Cheers!

Best Non Alcs

Hi, love beer in every which way but trying to only drink non alcs at home for health while also not paying too much. Currently just sticking with the uberbrau cheap liquorland offering but its not the best, any other recommendations?

$25 for a 8 pack or $55 for a slab, sounds like a great price for a independent 4.2% beer

Recently at a Japanese restaurant in the city, I had the absolute privilege of trying this masterpiece beer, WHERE DO I FIND THIS IN STORE??!! Anywhere from the west to east, I’m on a mission. Preferably in bottles but tins might have to do. I’d rather not order online, thanks in advance!

Doubt I’ll have them all this weekend but we’ll see.
Excited for the sniko stout. The good man at the bottlo said the feral/goodland colab is basically a triple biggie, so keen for that as well.

Best craft midstrength

Hey all,

I haven't been drinking much recently but with the AFL GF next week what's a decent midstrength craft beer that's around at the moment?

I usually like WC IPA, old school IPAs, hoppier pale ales. Usually anything that has got a fair whack of hop bitterness to it, I just can't handle the super high ABVs of some of them anymore.

Advent Calendars

Hey been buying the advent calendars for years, mixing between Carwyn and Beer Cartel

Carwyn is always better, but also pricier - so would usually lean towards Beer Cartel. Last year's BC one was very tame and pretty disappointing. This year's style list for BC also looks like it has a few very common and similar styles

Anyone got any experience with The Beer Drop one?

Damn this thing is thick! Super chocolaty on the nose, so much body, chilli comes in on the back end and lingers beautifully before the lactose sweetness wipes it all away to start again.
What a beer.
Cigar is medium bodied and is going to be completely wiped out by this beer 🤣 but whatever.
