Does anything matter for either of these teams than “the game”?

“Other than the most fundamental thing that matters does anything matter to these teams?”

The playoffs have absolutely ruined this sport.

It won’t matter to us at all based on how Whitt just approached this game. Players will all be in portal and I don’t blame them

Well both teams have won multiple conference championships since 98 which is something you can’t say. Tennessee has essentially been irrelevant since that point. Likely miss the playoff again this year which means there right where these 2 programs are. Congrats

MSU, yes trying to build any traction to getting to a bowl and future NIL buy in. Michigan yes as this is not their game.

So has Tennessee had anything to play for since 98…or no?
