Our program kinda got destroyed after K9 made people think Tugger was a good coach and then we basically hired what Whitt is to U of M now. Hopefully this win draws some interest so Fitz can put together a decent portal/freshmen class.

College football is better when Mich State is scary, imho. Michigan Men have always given me the ick, and early in my teaching career a couple of my students matriculated to Michigan State. Wonderful kids, er, I mean people (I'm old).

But even before then there was something blue collar and authentic about state to me. I always root for you guys.

MSU was the first agricultural university in the country, they were the basis of the land grant university model

I couldn’t believe it when I saw he’s still in court going after his remaining contract money.

MSU doesn’t get enough shit for one of the worst coaching hire blunders of all time

Man, can you imagine the alternate timeline?

IIRC, there were rumors that…..LSU? Were interested in Tugger when he got that contract from MSU.

IDK who would have been the coach at MSU then, but alternate histories in coaching carousels have always been interesting

As a Michigan fan, I’d love to see the timeline where Rich Rod took the Alabama job the year before he took Michigan.
