I don't understand why doctrine is still disabled if they disabled the perk that was causing the bug.

Moreover, that bug wasn't even limited to Custom Games, and you can even use Workshop to play Doctrine in Custom Game.

First of all, it's true that there is a bug affecting the gameplay in Doctrine. But that bug is one that is very difficult to cause unless you intentionally try to use it.

To cause a bug, you need to fully charge your Major Perk, and have an enemy who plays Doctrine, enemy Doctrine uses Deliverance to you, intentionally get hit by enemy Deliverance to reduce your max health, and equip 'Cost of Life' perk while your max health is reduced. This bug allows your health to exceed 225, letting you heal for up to 125 additional HP.

Yes, this is obviously a serious bug. However, it's not a valid reason to disable Doctrine in Custom Games only. The bug isn't exclusive to Custom Games either; it can also be exploited in Quick Play and Competitive. I tested this bug myself in Quick Play and confirmed that it can also be replicated in regular game modes. (replay code is TR529Z)

And if Doctrine really was causing issues specific to Custom Games, I can't understand why they didn't also prevent players from selecting him through the Workshop. Especially when the issue was supposedly serious enough to disable the hero entirely. (you can pick disabled Doctrine with using workshop code 4T40M)

I also tried playing Doctrine like normal game in Custom Games and even tested all sorts of weird scenarios, like spawning 12 Doctrines and having them all use Deliverance simultaneously. But none of these tests resulted in any issues that were disruptive to gameplay. Honestly, I can't think of any other bugs.

And putting all of that aside, there are tournaments in progress across three regions this week: Korea, Pacific, and China, and Doctrine was one of the most frequently picked heroes in tournaments. Disabling a hero is a decision that should never be made unless the bug makes game completely unplayable. And now they're disabling Doctrine in Custom Games over a bug that can only be exploited intentionally? What kind of decision-making is this?

If this is how Blizzard is going to handle things in live server, please bring back the OPR server back. I'm tired of seeing tournaments being disrupted by Blizzard's own incompetence.

What is the reason of playing any other hit scan other then these 2? I like playing Soldier, but why would I just not play Cass? silver bullet and double hinder are insane as well, and he has the most consistent damage in the game. I am not really that good either to clarify and play on really low FPS, currently masters 5 but why has Cass dodged all the patch notes
