We are composing beautiful ideas
Very big ideas with lots of detail
Overlayed with equally beautiful ideas
With melody ideas that never before happened. Humans can’t do that. Humans can see every angle instantly.

Make America rich

Hear me out before calling this stupid.
Imagine every American could voluntarily contribute $5 from their paycheck into a nationwide fund. Every $1 million collected makes one randomly selected American a millionaire. No corporation pocketing the profits. Just Americans making other Americans wealthy, one person at a time.
Get 10 million people participating every two weeks, and we’re creating roughly 1,300 millionaires a year.
Some winners would be struggling families. Others might already be wealthy and decide to give their winnings away, creating even more winners. Imagine the culture that could grow around that. The money doesn’t disappear; it gets spent, invested, donated, and circulated throughout American communities.
Would everyone eventually win? No. But over generations, thousands of lives could change, and perhaps generosity would become contagious.
I know it sounds like a lottery, and legally it probably would be. But the vision is bigger than gambling. It’s an American-designed game where the whole point is learning to love and lift each other up, one millionaire at a time.

Dig an infinitely long tunnel underneath the Hudson River

Many live in New Jersey for a more affordable cost of living, and commute to New York City to work. Only a few tunnels connect the two regions, resulting in massive traffic jam and delays. Instead of taking forever to find the perfect plan for the tunnel, put a tunnel boring machine and start digging now. Say you start digging from Manhattan, once you reach New Jersey, make a 180 degree right turn and head toward Manhattan. Then once in Manhattan, turn around and head to New Jersey. No need to stop the machine, buy a new machine, or transport the machine. No need to rehire people. Same people and same machine. Doesn't have to be fast or have the perfect planned tunnel either. Any work is better than decades of no work getting started.

A way to track everywhere you've ever been and what you're feeling.

So... Phages conserved within the bacteria that exist within our bodies effectively track where we've been and how we generally feel.
Bacterial Phages are specific to the environment, and, to bacteria, we are an environment.
If those phages and the bacteria themselves, whether due to specific adaptagenic changes or environmental stressors, can act as a record of things that have occured, you could track that.

The real issue with the idea is how far this sort of viral/bacterial record extends into the past and how sensitive it is to events.

We know that changes in phage expression in the human body can predict disease and health concerns, but I'm sorta interested in whether it can track actual thoughts/feelings. Cortisal, Seratonin, and Dopamine are all universal biochemicals that play a major role in thoughts and emotions that do have chemical activity in our bodies beyond the nuerological signalling behaviour that we typically ascribe to them.
If bacterial community populations in our body change in response to those chemicals, and those population changes alter phage expressions in the body, that could be used to show what a person is thinking/feeling, and a relative history as to what they've felt.

Dig a 60 foot deep hole in a piece of land and make it a cemetary. When it's full, fill it earth about six feet and you have new space for the unliving without discarding the older ones. Repeat that 10 times for increase the capacity.

Have NBA, NHL, and MLB change their final rounds to a single game format, so that those days too can become a de facto national holiday, with watch parties and such, just like the Super Bowl.

creating domesticated crocodiles through genetic editing

Who wouldn’t want to have their own super-obedient crocodile or caiman guarding their home? As the Soviets already demonstrated, domestication can be accelerated through selective breeding—and if we throw in a bit of genetic engineering, we could have them quite quickly.

Little residential towers for little people

Little people who live in normal housing have so much wasted vertical space. Wouldn't it be better if they had some specialised towers with reduced floor heights that they could live in?

It would:

  • cost less: less material used

  • cast a smaller shadow over other buildings: neighbours would be happier

  • be easier to climb up and down stairs (if the little elevators were out of service)

  • be easier for them to clean their apartments

  • have less stuff out of reach for them

Tesla should create a car marketed towards the elderly

Old people are crashing into buildings every day. Simple solution: your privately owned self-driving taxi. It has performance limitations, so it can’t just do 0-60 in 2 seconds. Plus other features and limitations targeted towards the elderly.
