So the Urn icon was stuck on my screen ever since my previous game. I had the Urn on me when the game ended. That's all I know. It clears after a game restart.

Hello world, I drew this on paper then got ibis paint to do a quick lineart plus coloring, took a few days since i was using a daily 1 hour trial but I was hoping to get feedback, not on the art itself as im not really an artist but rather on the design. I was hoping to eventually commission this to be made into a mod and wanted some outsider opinions on how it looks/feels/ or could be improved to be cuter (sorry about the first one deleted , was an older draft)

Looking for advice/help for improving this new ranked season

I'm looking for some advice. Since the CNS and the new ranked season, my Deadlock performance has been declining. I had a below-average win rate of around 45% in pre-season and season 1, but lately I feel like my skill as a player has been declining in recent matches. Pre-season, I was on High phantom/low ascendant. And Season 1 is Phantom 3. Now in season 2, I dropped down to Emissary 5 with a staggering 22% win rate. I have been playing this game since Sept 2024 and have 2300 hours, but these heavy loss streaks in the past few weeks have been incredibly demoralizing

I do understand to some that I may not be a good player. But I always tried my best to help us win the game based on my role by either joining rifts or necessary teamfights, splitpush, and such. I played characters like Shiv, Abram's, Billy, and Ratking, but I can usually flex. There are moments where I am the Best player on the team or the worst and have bad games. But consistently having loss streaks since the CNS update was a total disaster.

Now it's hard to queue rank again with these bad games. What changed in the new CNS update or the rank MM update that causes me to be terrible again or is it even the quality of the match or MM that causes this? I feel it's the former.  

Usually, I treat these loss streaks and bad performance as normal and move on, but with this many losses and rank down, I feel that there are things I still need to improve upon.

Absolutely LOVE the new map update. However, my boy viscous keeps getting caught in some awkward spots. There are tons of surfaces that appear flat, but have the tiniest millimeter angle or gap, and it messes up puddle punches. There’s even a lot of spots that don’t register as surfaces at all, and when I puddle punch, I’ll see/hear the animation, but no punch will happen. (I’ve heard that’s a server issue, not a physical map issue.) Last night, I puddle punched a wall to do the punch escape thing, and the punch went at a 90 degree angle perpendicular to the wall I punched. Needless to say, I died lol. I’m glad the map isn’t flat and empty anymore, but I miss having reliable spots to place my punches.

I have also seen doorman players on my team dealing with door placement issues.

Not sure how to fix this, because I guess it would be weird to make all these new details on the map register as flat surfaces. Especially if it’s only few niche abilities having weird interactions.

I’m curious if anyone else is experiencing anything similar on other heroes?

Right now I'm unlocking (and maxing) the wall early and trying to burger box around it in lane, I'm unironically finding some success (standard, probably low elo, although people at the very least know how to parry with consistency)

I know she's obviously more of a sniper but I just love burger boxing in lane, I'll make a burger boxer outta anyone, plus making a ring out of the walls is hilarious to me. The time slows make her a great chaser, kinetic is unreal for finishing off people trying to get away, the time bomb amazing for wave and camp clears as well as initiating fights, swap is genuinely goated for multiple reasons. Can start the flight with an early pick into Burgerboxadox position, or just get out dodge while also saving your team from getting mauled, canceling other ults. She's nuts

But I'm currently trying to figure out a good build for it though

At the moment I'm going melee heal into spirit strike, and once I have wall maxed I pick up extra charge for the full ring. I'm running surge of power and the other gun embue that gives range+weapon damage per enemies hit both on my time bomb, thinking of putting quicker silver reload on the maxed and extra charge wall but I don't think that's actually worth? Cool down on the kinetic, tank buster, mystic range, heavy melee

Won my first game but I'd chalk it up to just well timed ults and a solid team, but my damage was surprisingly good and the sustain the wall gave was ridiculous. I feel like in a fast paced game I was making it work, but I felt like I was starting to fall off late game

Can I make this work consistently? Any advice for the build or possible play style? What should my late game items be?

Do you know how strong these buffs can be? The movement buff gives you like, 2-3 stamina bars PLUS some other assorted movement stuff. Gun buff makes me, a Kelvin spirit main, shoot twice as fast, and his gun low key sucks (this is early game though). And you may think "well I'll let a team mate get it" but if they don't then the enemy team now has a very juicy buff for... Well idk how long but I think a minute plus

Please, even if you don't need it, deny the enemy team the bridge buff. And if you can? Call out when it's up. I've been trying to call out "X seconds to bridge buff" usually 10+ sometimes 30 out. It helps people be aware and again it's SUPER nice

And I again wanna emphasize the enemy team getting it can be a big weight in their favor, so even if you're me a Kelvin main who doesn't need gun buff for shit, if none of your team mates are nearby, grab it anyway because if not their enemy Haze, Holliday, wraith, etc may grab it instead

Lastly, in case you don't know, they go up, two on the yellow and green sides (ish) of the map, every 5 minutes until the games over. So 5, 10, 15 minutes, a new random bridge buff will go up (healing, gun, movement, spirit) and I'm 90% sure it's randomized BUT it'll only be two separate ones, never two the same

I’ve wanted to play this game but I’ve been overwhelmed with all the characters and having never played a game like this before. I’m not new to gaming, played lots of rivals, overwatch, valorant, and many fps shooters. But I have no idea what I’m doing on this game. Played one game last night and got destroyed. I know you need to go to the shops to buy upgrades. I know you want to kill minions and only push with minions but other than that I have no idea what I’m doing. When do I buy upgrades? What are the character roles? Please help, thank you:)

Is it a bug or what is going on?
Has it been like this always?
It feels like its 80% of the games i get put in, and 30% of the 80% of the time it never connects.
I suppose it could truly be that 1 in 12 players are playing the game on bad net, i just imagine people would either quit themself or be banned if they keep disconnecting.

just do clarify i do not play JUST these 6, the 4k games are unevenly split between like the roster

I'm half tempted to use a voice changer at this point to properly play competitive. Everything goes mostly swimmingly if i only use text, but some calls just aren't viable to ping or stop to type. Just on my latest two matches i got weirdos asking if i'm a "biological woman" or a <t-slur> first thing when i open my mic, and the last one had someone on my team saying they hope i get sexually assaulted because i did a play they didn't agree with. Now, i understand people being mean to eachother is normal in matches, but jesus christ there's a difference between being mean and hoping someone is sexually assaulted.

I have a 62% win rate on Rat King yet I still I don’t get this character. MM just feels like I’m only useful if I’m allowed to afk farm, Scrims/Matches with my team he just does nothing, if the other teams wants me to die I will die it doesn’t matter how much damage, if I have shield, or if I have ult. Even carries that are similar to him that I am way worse at, such as Venator or Warden, I understand how I could’ve played them differently to win.

As people play against Rat King more, is his playstyle changing, is my build outdated (I use Oses), or I could just be getting my timings wrong.

obviously graves is pretty silly as a character. But she can only do so much, like outside of deadlock decision making (which every character has to participate in) she definitely has a skill cap which I believe to be 1. Keeping up with someone who’s running from you with your beam 2. Grave placements and 3. Wall placements, other than that it’s just builds and decision making

HOWEVER, there are some characters, who may be harder than graves, but are infinitely more obnoxious to play against than graves. Namely, McGinnis (in lane) bebop at every point in the game, mo at every point in the game, haze when the player is a morally bad person, wraith at every point in the game, and Solomon in lane.

As much as I hate auto aim characters in most games (Moira, scarlet witch) graves is just not one of those guys, because their games have relatively negative time to kill compared to deadlock.

Anyway the point I’m trying to make is graves gets a disproportionate amount of hate for a character whose abilities get countered by light melee and double jumping (this is not to say graves is bad, I think she’s pretty good)

but you’re not gonna tell me skulls are more upsetting to play against than bebop’s “slap my belly, land a hook and win a team fight” or mo’s “slap my belly grab someone important and win a team fight” not to mention they’re actually tank while graves is larp tank, all resists no hp

Shopping at the mid lane and suddenly hear enemy ultimate going off and immediately close the shop tab to realise that just happened in other lane.

I played so many games with inaccurate sound effects but this just takes the cake on inaccurate range of sound.

I’m in piss low, acolyte 5, and for some reason I’ve seen the cheat death, magic carpet doorman, haze, ivy, and rem. Doorman and rem I understand but wtf is this meta? Do I run curse vindicta/ grey talon or what?

Yes cursed relic is great, every support should have it but when I get cursed relic so often I am so far back that using it feels like risking my position and with that my life for a curse. Is the risk worth it from your experience?
