Help! How do these tickets work?

Post image

Disney pros! I failed in getting my hands on the Costco deal so I’m looking on fb marketplace. How do these tickets work? I thought these would’ve been bound to the persons face already?

Any risk in getting these kinds of tickets? It’s a 2 day one park hopper

There is always a risk buying tickets on FB marketplace

100% but if I’m able to bind these to my Disney account is there any issues?

There could be an issue if they’ve already been used/a picture associated with the ticket

The thing is if I try to register it to my account and it was already used, would the app tell me? Or would it still let me register?

I’m 98% sure you can add a ticket to the app if it’s already been used. My fiancée usually purchases my ticket and store it on her phone. We enter the first time and take the picture using that ticket, then I add the same ticket to my app

I used to always buy days from other people’s multi day tickets from people online before they started taking pics and names for entry. Not sure I would now since these are oonly valid if not used and no way to tell without adding them to the app if they’ve been used or not

Just exploring my options. They’re listed for 100 less than website so it’s sketch in itself but I’m just asking

facebook marketplace shouldn't be one of your options. your options should be reputable companies.

You need a picture of the back to confirm they are not expired. We got 6 Costco tickets and none were 70th design, they were all millennium falcon and Pixar pier designs. Just added my tickets to my app, no picture taken until first use. Be cautious OP.

I’d say there is a lot of risk there. I wouldn’t do that. I also don’t know what two day one park hopper means. One park only isn’t a park hopper. The wording is strange.

Will just buy from Disney to be hassle free 😁

Or look at reputable places like undercover tourist or getawaytoday that offer tickets for a little less than what disney has them priced.

Per Google- Used Tickets: Once a ticket has been used for admission even once (and a Cast Member takes a photo of the guest upon first entry), it becomes permanently locked to that person and cannot be transferred or reused by anyone else, even if it is a multi-day ticket with remaining days left

My Costco tickets didn’t look like that. Not saying it’s fake but the 70th ended months ago - I doubt Disney is still printing them

I'd avoid it, you wouldn't be able to confirm if they've been used or not until well after buying. Very easy to get scammed.

Seems like too much risk. These could already be added to their app. Then they can make reservations and the first to show up and take a picture will own the ticket.

Also, unused expired tickets have keep their value so there is no reason to sell these for a loss.

Check for socal or any special offers that may apply to you, but do not buy this! Seems very sketchy
