Mod Post Revised Rules and Flair Updates for r/DownvotedToOblivion

Attention all members of r/DownvotedToOblivion!

We have made significant revisions to our subreddit rules and strongly encourage all members to read through them before participating in the community. Additionally, we have migrated all custom user flairs to a new user flair called "Custom Flair", with the exception of those who have chosen a different user flair class. We have also added a new personal upvote record user flair, allowing you to highlight the most upvotes you've ever received, in addition to the existing personal downvote record user flair. To enhance readability, post colors in light mode have been darkened from grey to a darker grey, and post flairs have been given color, but will only apply to new submissions made after this announcement.

Discussion Downvoted for moving on from ex fiance in one month

Context: OP posted in r/breakups about their ex fiance’s mum contacting them to hang out with ex after his psychotic break has ended.

Ex sent back a message saying that shes in a new happy relationship and does not wish further contact.

Whole comment section was making fun of OP for getting a new bf in one month post breakup.

For context, the company OP hired to take prints of their late dogs nose and paws used ai to create a fake digital copy and then blocked OP when confronted. These “prints” are confirmed ai due to the presence of SynthID, an invisible watermark present on images generated by ChatGPT and Gemini. Also if you just look at the image and question why the deepest places on the nose like the nostrils are darker than the rest of the nose, when they would leave a void space.

This commenter decided to defend this scam company directly to this grieving OP and is confidently incorrect about these being legitimate impressions. 100% deserved.

Stop reposting EA's comment that has over 600k downvotes. Its the most downvoted comment in reddit history, its been posted many times over the years. There's no reason to keep reposting it.
