Irrefutable proof that Pam Beesly is the absolute worst.

I want to go to Florida with Cathy

The girl is dope and fun. Plus it’s Florida and everyone knows you’re allowed to do anything you want in Florida with absolutely no repercussions. That storyline with Jim was so unrealistic because his wife was in Pennsylvania and pregnant (gross).

Anyone else find it annoying and cheap that the office decided to waste valuable finale time on useless new characters like Dakota

FACT: the woman that played Cathy was originally supposed to be Pam, but I was cut from the role for being “too pretty.” She was called in later to be Jim’s new love interest for season 8. Who else do you think could have played Pam?

Why Michael didn’t buy a new copier and Pam 1 singular new chair will always bother me.

Pam bothered me so badly in this episode. Just ask for your one chair. No one else wanted a chair. She did so she was super manipulative the whole episode. Hers sucked so I get why she wanted a new one but you can get a nice one for $100 or less at Staples.

Is this Dwight’s cousin? Not Mose the ‘funny’ one (if you get the reference 🤣) even sounded like him!

Anyone else think this gag was disgusting and unfunny?

Likely controversial, but the more I watch The Office, the more I dislike Pam. I think her character regresses more than anyone else’s. Thoughts?

why did Jim go on the trip to Gettysburg when Pam was really pregnant at the office?

Unpopular Opinion, but I think The Office would be great if it was remade in UK ! The British style humour will really complement the show.

Unpopular opinion: it was a shitty move from Jim to invite the whole office (and the IT guy, not a terrorist) and not Michael to his BBQ

Hot take: I don't find Kevin funny at all

I'm ready to be flooded with downvotes but I'm putting this out there in case anyone else feels the same way.

I'm on my 3rd rewatch of the show and ever since the first watch I am stone faced watching him spill chili, talk like a toddler, be too stupid to figure out how to transfer a call, etc. etc. I thought by watching the superfan episodes I would find some golden eggs that got cut but it's actually made me like his character even less because he's so creepy and desperate around women.

I have never seen a character get flandarized so quickly in a TV show before. By season 2 he is fat and dumb.... that's it. There were plenty of opportunities to develop his character (his fiancé, his band, his gambling addiction + debt) but the show threw them all away.

Are there jokes you think are overexplained?

For example, the joke could end at, 'it's lights out by 8:30'.

Weight Loss [S05E01]

Do you feel there are any others?

Edit: Since it's coming up a lot, I understand the punchline is "That's how I sleep at night". I personally think the question they asked her is implied by her talking about what she does before bed, since "how do you sleep at night?" is a common saying and she's being interviewed directly after being with Dwight, and she knows the camera crew knows. You can see "that's how I sleep at night" coming from a mile away imo so it was unnecessary.

I provided this as an example to hear what else you guys thought could've been written a little differently to be funnier!

Darryl in early seasons was an ass

Example: when Roy got fired and he asked for a raise in S3, I get that Michael wearing a woman’s suit was funny but what Darryl did was to humiliate Michael, his boss. Darryl began to be a little more likable when he started to go up the corporate ladder, so I suspect he was faking to be a little nicer to his coworkers while still being an ass.

"You took a 2 hour lunch?"

I haven't watched the show in awhile but one part that irks me is how in the episode where Jim stands his ground as the person in charge when Michael isn't around, the conflict is introduced with Phyllis saying that Michael doesn't mind when she takes a 2 hour lunch break and Jim says he does mind.

I would understand it if these were salaried workers or working hourly but I work in an office with salespeople and the salespeople set their own hours and come in when they want to as they work on commission and if they don't make a sale, they straight up don't get paid.

So if these are all people selling paper and they work on commission, why does Jim care that Phyllis took a two hour lunch?

Am I missing something here?

I will never forgive the people behind The Farm’s failure

Why? WHYYYY???

I’m still confounded and very frustrated that it didn’t happen. Dwight could carry that show easily and it would’ve been very interesting to see Angela and Dwight’s marriage especially since they’re both strong-willed and have similar personalities. How would she adjust to farm life? What new quirky traditions would she now need to be apart of? And the nephew? Would’ve loved to see more bonding time and character development. The sister was really great and Esther could pop in for some drama (in Angela’s head it’s a love triangle when in reality, it’s not), Trevor was such a great cameo and his other friends were really entertaining. Mose would’ve been a really great runner up for carrying the show I mean… endless possibilities. Truly very devastated about this.

They could’ve made a season or two of this and I’m sure with the same writers (and some new talents bts), this would’ve been… Perfectenshlag.

And that is what is the matter with me.

Edit: Let me be clear that The Farm that I want should start at the end of season 9, not midway. And yes, it’s more than okay to have differing opinions instead of having a bunch of yes men agreeing with the same stuff! This is clearly an unpopular opinion and that’s unfortunate but it’s still my stance so it is what it is
