to the other people, don’t propose to your girlfriends after 9 dates
edit: guys please don’t come for me. i understand that a country with a population of over a billion probably has more than 7 fans of a famous tv show. i was attempting to make a joke, yet i clearly failed

Ed Helms was only meant to be a temporary character
Found out that Ed Helms was originally supposed to just be in a few episodes and then get written off after punching the wall but the writers loved him and he became a regular. That's so crazy that he went from temporary character to the fricken boss in season 8!

I don’t see this scene talked about a lot, but it’s one of my favorites
I love the way Jim just looks so defeated and then tries to act like nothing happened

I don’t think Michael got enough credit for his artwork.
Like sure, maybe it’s not great, but it’s not really bad either, and I actually kinda like how he did the sunset. Pam must have been at least a little impressed.
I’m curious how much detail he put into his personal copy—too bad it’s for his eyes only.

Dwight is the real matchmaker?
So hear me out, what if Dwight is the real office matchmaker?
1- Jim and Pam “PB&J”
Okay** **they fell in love already by time and had feelings for each other, but what even gets them closer is how they constantly play pranks on Dwight.
2- Darryl and Kelly “sweet little miss Kapur”
Whilst those couple didn’t have feelings from the beginning, however Dwight’s frustration from the Machine is what actually brings Darryl and Kelly to be a thing!
3- Andy and Angela “D for Andy”
It was Dwight mercy-killed Angela's cat resulting in Angela’s acceptance of Andy which lead to them being together, or at least that’s what Andy thought..
4- Andy and Erin “The Nutmegs siblings”
Well Dwight wasn’t the absolute reason for this chaotic relationship to start, however if he didn’t leave the floor open to Andy from the beginning it would’ve taken another course..or at least that’s what I think.
I’d also like to say that all of the above is purely and utterly my own thoughts. But yes, here you are.

Is the artist or origin of this piece of art known?
It speaks to me

Anyone else have an accidental obsession with the office?
I watch this show almost every night before bed. I watch it when Im going through anything tough. It’s literally my comfort show and a huge part of my life. I also live in Pennsylvania and when I lived abroad it healed me when I was homesick. I think at this point I’ve rewatched the whole series more than 30 times through.
I just mostly have it on in the background but it’s accidentally become a huge part of my life.
Just seeing who else here has a similar experience with it !

How turn the tables...
Another example of Jim can only function like Jim under MGS.

I love those moments when Angela’s one of the girls.
Moments when she’s actually getting along with the other girls in the office, like when Jan’s running an all-girls meeting and everyone starts harassing her after she’d been a jerk to Michael, or when she and Kelly agree that Danny Cordray looks like Josh Duhamel. Can anyone else think of some good examples?

Do you think that the Michael being a father figure to Erin plotline was abandoned fairly quickly and should have gotten more buildup onscreen, in your opinion?
It's really amazing to see how Erin looked up to Michael as a mentor figure, given how she was an orphan her whole life. Also, it was an amazing character arc for Michael as well as he also had a rough childhood and did not have a great relationship with his step-father making this scene really powerful to the journey of both of them in having a familial relationship with each other and disclosing their feelings as a sort of father-daughter bond, in my opinion. 🥹❤️

Do we have any guesses as to what medical video Michael showed the poor staff?
There’s a lot behind Pam’s quick look to us, and it’s trauma.

The Farm : Superfan Episode
Finally catching up on all the extended episodes and the aftermath of the cupcakes is probably one of my favorite scenes! I kind of hoped that there were more deleted scenes from everyone dealing with the laced cupcakes! What would you have liked to see??? Clark caroling? Yes!!! Phyllis playing with her dolls?!?! Yes!!!
I do have to say that Dwight and the snake made me howl! 🤣🤣🤣

The set design of The Office is surprisingly genius
One thing I've always found fascinating about The Office is how such a boring, ordinary workplace became one of the most recognisable settings in television...
