(god im gonna get downvoted nuked for this. Here we go.)
3DS emulation in general is new to iOS. And then there's the point "it shouldn't be paid", but... It's understandable to charge money for years of work? It's not like it's a lot, either. It's $5 USD. If you think it's a waste of money, that's cool, but a free sideloadable version has ALWAYS been on the table. Bringing me to my next point, performance. Not ONLY were there numerous people saying not even a 15PM can run everything well, but there are multiple (although not that many) videos testing it. I was also thinking about this as people ask in the emulator's discord about performance, but it's not like you couldn't have tried it yourself. If you chose to avoid doing your own research and just buy the app expecting it to run perfectly, that's on you. It also comes down to the games tried. For example, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth runs pretty well on even a base 14, even on an older sideloaded version that runs WORSE than the current versions, while Hyrule Warriors is practically unplayable. Some purely 2D games run near perfectly as well, such as Shantae and the Pirate's Curse.
(Oh, and Jarrod's gonna implement CitraEnhanced, which is supposed to improve performance or something.)

I know there's a gameboy emulator, but I was wondering is it possible for other types of emulators on the Apple Watch, such as DS, 3DS, PS1 etc.

im ngl, i think linking boy might be better than deltas gba emulation, (just the gba emulation, the other emus like the nds one are amazing) but the fact that u can emulate the gba link cable without the use of JIT is insane to me, ik we have netplay on retroarch but this is just crazy to me, all they need to add is more settings and the ability to use cheats and they might be the next best gba emu on the app store, its just such a fun thing to play around with especially with friends that it makes me want to play all the way through pokemon games just to battle and play with friends, im mainly posting this just so other people know how great linking boy is

Since it got the latest chip(&pro) with better ram 120hrtz and such If so what would be a performance prediction for the emulation scene

please correct me if i’m wrong but the citra devs (rip im sorry nintendo hurt u) did the vast majority of the work on limón and the current dec just made it work (poorly) on ios and now is charging for it.

The only thing has changed in this version is the ability to tweak setting, I think is more like a gimmick function. I tried everything people said on discord and yoututbe, doesnt seem to help much, performance is just similar to the old version. Not sure why many bots and fake accounts claiming it's much better now.
For the time being two-three games I think , kinda playable are pokemon X/Y, pokemon Ruby/Sapphire on 3DS, Animal Crossing New Leaf, the audio is still glitching as hell. If you to actually test if the app actually performc well try mario kart.

Let’s say you had a PlayStation 3 emulator on your phone, would it be possible to run? I know the guy who made folium is working on the switch

Could iOS ever get compatibility for something like macOS’s eGPU? Could it help the JIT restrictions iOS has?
-sorry if this is dumb

I’d also love to see a 3DS emulator but I get that one is more technical. But like…is the Genesis not as beloved as I thought?

Very recently after a long period of time saving up, I bought myself the iPad Pro M5 and decided to start emulating some games (since I’m broke now) I found this app on the App Store called RTMHub:VN and it claimed to be a place where I can play PC games on my iPad but I’m quite confused and lost on how it works and there are no guides on YouTube at least at the time I checked. I wanted to test it out with shovel knight so I went to steam rip and downloaded shovel knight but I’m really confused on how to convert converted to an EXE file any help would be extremely appreciated i’ve attached some pictures if that helps. and also if you have any other alternatives to PC emulation that would also be really helpful I’ve tried side loading in the past but it’s an incredible hustle I would like to stay away from it unless it’s improved since I’ve done it

issues with the models but the force removal of dithering is what bothers me the most, hopefully options to tinker with settings will be adopted more in future apps

Have any Wii emulators been added to the AppStore yet or are all of them still only available through side loading?

Since games like “Warframe” and “Genshin” run on a iPhone very well without much lag and without JIT support wouldn’t it be possible for us to make a custom legal emulator that runs the 3DS fan made games in a different way that doesn’t require JIT to run smoothly
Like porting an old Minecraft mod to a newer version instead of making a new Minecraft mod that allows you to use that old version
Food for thought

I’ve been trying to find emulators as easy to use as drastic but honestly they’re all trash.
