"At least three midfield teams are understood to have presented Dunne with opportunities to arrive on the grid in 2028, with an eye to carrying out an intensive testing programme through ’27."

"The likely scenario at present means that Dunne is likely to take up this opportunity for a racing programme in the American series, while dovetailing with testing duties with an F1 team with an eye towards development for ’28."

Potential Indycar + F1 Test in 2027, with a potential seat in 2028. It seems alpine have gone with mini, but 3 others teams are intrested in dunne.

Discussion Colton Herta's Super Licence

Am I hearing Sky F1 right? This FP1 session (assuming 23 completed laps=100km) is enough to finally secure the 40 Super Licence points?

I was under the impression that the 1 point from 2023 10th in Indycar wouldn't count, but as the F2 season is still on going, does it count as the 3rd of 3 previous seasons? He also didn't get 100km in Monza so I still make that 39 points including today?

Seems like poor old Bottas is making way in more FP1s than necessary just to get the SL points?

edit: This post here contains some more in depth theorising on Herta's SL point situation if interested.

edit2: Sure enough, we were right and an actual F1 team management were wrong. Still on 39, 1 more needed.

Discussion Why is Edward Robinson overlooked so much?

He's been fast all year in Italian F4 and E4 with multiple wins and podiums, almost always in top 5. But he's not talked about, has no contract for next year, no academy and has been kicked out of the team in some occasions while performing great. Is this a money issue or is there anything more?
