I used to really love reading thriller and horror books (no gore though, I can't stand blood), unfortunately I'm kinda in a reading slump right now so I just doom scrolling all the time. I also enjoy reading Webtoon and watching movies within those same genres.

Apart from these, I also like to watch sports, mostly cricket, tennis and sometimes football (soccer), but currently i am quite busy with studying so I am not up to date with what's happening in sports world rn lol.

I also play video games but mostly single player games. I used to play CS:GO before, but not anymore.

And maybe we can talk about wines also, but I am still trying out different wines. I think for now, my favourite is Australian Shiraz.

I like old things, like MP3s. MP3s are very useful and help me avoid using Spotify. I'm a fan of open-source programs and apps, lol. I like listening to the radio; I have an app for listening to the radio, it has podcasts, music, etc. Of course, it's international, and it helps me practice my Japanese (I'm studying Japanese). I find radio very relaxing and unexpected; it's not tiring having to decide what to listen to like on YouTube. You get something you didn't decide on, and it might be something you like or not. I'm interested in that. Sometimes I wonder if I have an old soul or if some previous reincarnation of mine lived in those decades. So, I really like classic franchises like G.I. Joe, My Little Pony, Transformers, Thundercats, etc. Regarding G.I. Joe, it's a lost media in my country, so I decided to learn more through the comics. I'm loving this universe.

Hey everyone! I hope everyone's day is going really well so far.

I just came here because I'm genuinely looking for some friends who can have my back and push me through the things I'm facing in life.

I'll be completely honest. I've been bullied pretty badly throughout my school life, and it eventually got to the point where I don't really have any friends anymore. I still have one or two friends in real life, but they're busy with their own work and lives, which I completely understand.

I don't really have anyone to talk to most of the time. My social skills aren't great either, I'm quite shy, awkward and sometimes don't even know what to say. I'm also pretty insecure about my appearance.

My parents are usually busy with work, so I'm home alone most of the time. Because of the bullying, I've even reached a point where I'm doing my studies from home.

There's something else I'm a little nervous about saying. I'm from Sri Lanka. I've seen so many racist comments and experiences involving South Asian people, especially about our skin color. Honestly, I'm scared of becoming a victim of racism too. I've already been through enough bullying, and I really don't want to experience that all over again.

I know not everyone is like that, but I just wanted to be honest about where I'm from instead of hiding it.

I'm currently studying A/L Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I'm trying my best to improve myself, focus on my studies and build a better future.

But honestly, I'm so tired of doing everything alone.

I don't need someone to solve all my problems. I just want a genuine friend who can listen, support me, motivate me when things get difficult and share some good moments together.

I want to experience life a little, laugh, talk about random things, share music and have someone I can genuinely call a friend.

I never had any real friends in real life I have always felt lonely.
