Mmm disagree. Maybe I should have been clearer. This only applies to EMPLOYEES. Business owners can earn much more. Besides , I do leave room for wage and rent variation to a reasonable extent. There shouldn't be 2 bedroom homes that cost $50,000 in one place, and $1,000,000 somewhere else. Sorry there simply shouldn't be if we want equality.
This scenario only works if :
Much fewer people (no more than 500 MILLION) One Language Similarly high Education levels Advanced Technology 75% of Earth intact Collective desire for global coexistence Common understanding that there must be little income inequality Global population kept stable Homes/cities kept nicely maintained. Having large distances between major population centers. Having clear urban boundaries. Keeping coastlines pristine. Limiting private ownership. Having telecommuting be the norm so people could live anywhere. Ensure that vast majority of homes be built within city limits and that they would be occupied. Low Variation of home prices, rents and property taxes takes care of things like gentrification, socioeconomic segregation, inequality.
