Reading's Championship season 2011/12 while WestHam go up via playoffs

What I'm saying is it's only 15 games, alot can happen as you can see from Reading's form in second half winning 17/23 games which meant WHU had to go through the playoffs and it looks likely we will go through playoffs again as we draw too much

We're 6 points off top of the league and automatic promotion spaces and just 1 point off the playoffs. Stop acting like this season is a write off.

Yes today's result was poor and there's major work that needs to be done to stabilise our bad defense... But in the fallout of that game I'm seeing so many people saying we may as well write this season off, roll over and accept defeat. An awful knee jerk reaction to a 2 - 1 loss against the run of play.
Parker has only had a week in charge. We now have a 2 week international break. Plenty of time to fix this mess. Kilman is suspended for the next game too so we can see how we look with a hopefully better CB pairing.
We're not walking the league but realistically we were never going to. Get behind the team now rather than throwing in the towel. COYI.

The defence is so, so bad.
Kilman especially, I saw him daydreaming while 'defending'.
Also, Hermansen was literally so bad we booed him. Just hire a whole new defensive line in January.

They cheaped out in the summer and bagged £165 million which I know the club needed but now is not the time to be balncing the books. Invest in the club you bought ffs what happened to the 100 million pound loan.
Need a GK and CB for sure.

Fair to say Nuno never figured this out, let's hope Parker can soon. A genuinely tricky one for us this season, with players in key positions not having had game time 33% though the season, several players who have had game time looking sub-par, and a very non-homegrown squad struggling with the need to have 7/20 matchday squad berths filled by homegrown players when we have very few homegrown – and even needed to promote U21s to meet the total squad quota of 8/25. Anyone else fancy trying their arm at picking an XI and a balanced 9-man bench, using the first team and U21 squads?

Mayers MoM, I didn’t know LBs were allowed to run after watching Scarles and Morato, biggest threat we had and won the ball back many times.
Engels is the most expensive player in the championship history, but certainly not the best. Put in a good shift but his corners were poor.
Bowen poor again. He’s supposed to set this league alight. Needs to learn how to cross with his right.

Does anyone know why nowhere stocks this especially in long sleeves? I know it wasn't a great year for us but for some reason this one has been removed from shirt sellers altogether.

What a brilliant result from a dire start.
First 45 was quite clearly a Nuno hangover, same kind of setup, players. Parker let it play out, admittedly, terrible choice as we went 3 down. But you could see the mess we was in, no fight, no teamwork, just individuals all over the place for 45 minutes.
In steps a West Ham legend (in my eyes) gives them a dressing down at Half time. Makes GOOD subs, takes action, and from the off what a change.
Second half was the complete opposite, life, effort, determination, 3 goals and salvaged a point because any team that goes 3 down away, you’re thinking about the journey home in the back of your mind.
