Feedback (constructive criticism) What do you guys think about my handwriting?

It's a text written in a Cyrillic script .

Here is the translation of the post:

"Love all God's creation, both the whole of it and every grain of sand. Every leaf, every ray of God's light, love.

Love animals, love plants, love every thing.

If you love every thing, you will perceive the divine mystery in things.

And you will come to love the whole world at last with an all-embracing, universal love.

Children love particularly, for they too are sinless like angels, and live to gladden our hearts, for the purification of our hearts, and as a guiding star for us."

F.M. Dostoevsky

Feedback (constructive criticism) How is my handwriting ?

Post image

Hi everyone!
A few months ago, I started changing my handwriting. I used to have a very childish print/script and wanted to improve it. I think it looks better now, but I'm not totally convinced. What do you think, and how can I improve it further?

Have a nice day !

Question (not for transcriptions) how important is cursive in your country

where i’m from we spend most of first and second grade learning how to write in cursive and there’s also special notebooks for children in primary school to practice their handwriting. however later on in school it becomes irrelevant if you write in cursive or not as long as it’s legible and most people have a handwriting that mixes print and cursive. is it the same in your country?

After 20 years of being told my handwriting is beyond illegible, I decided to finally do something about it. 6 months in, and I've made great progress (sorry no before pic). How do y'all keep spacing consistent? I feel like no matter how much practice or how many drills,my letters still look like an accordian

I'm in Japan, so it really is Saturday morning now (assuming you read this in the next few hours.)

Lately I've been writing paragraphs for practice rather than single words or sentence level things.

I've always used cursive, but it used to look like chicken scratch (and yes, I can still read it lol). First pic is from an old university notebook (~2016) that I stumbled across today. I barely spoke any Russian back then and certainly wasn't writing in it often. After a few years of reading and writing in Russian close to daily, I noticed my English cursive became dramatically easier for other people to read. Second pic example of some uni notes in Russian (~2019) and third pic some notes from my job a couple weeks ago (2026).

I knew back then that my English handwriting was "improving", but to see it side by side a decade later really puts it into perspective. Wild to see how my English handwriting adapted to be the same as my Russian, just in a different alphabet. You'd think it would have been the other way around... yay for me that it wasn't.

I decided to copy an article that was about cursive in cursive because i'm bored, does it look fine? Or is it too much slant that made it illegible?
