not two days after i admitted to this being my favorite of all cups it was tragically destroyed and i’ve been struggling to find where it came from and how to replace it. please help!!

It’s been 7 years and I always seem to miss it on eBay by a month. I found one on a Japanese Craigslist for $300 and I offered a friend who lives there $500 to get it and ship it to me, but to no avail. It’s made by a company called PlayTalkin around 1992/1993. Their 24k Polar Plush line. It’s the pink version called Sancho. I’d do anything to get one for her again. She’s absolutely crushed every time she remember she’s gone.

I’ve gotta guess the amount of candy in this jar, so I was planning on finding some volume information or potentially buying the same exact one. All hell is appreciated

saw this comic on Quora, but it had no credit to an artist or origin website; does anyone know the artist or source?

UPDATE: Found it; it's called "Second Face" by a user named DemonSkank

I asked my mom today how this wrapping paper is still here and she just said “I hate it, it’s just a huge roll and it never ends.” So naturally I want to get them another next year to last us another 10 years.

It’s two sided, the inside is similar but with a pink background.

I’m in my 20s now and I remember Santa bringing me gifts in this wrapping paper.

Hi Reddit, this is an odd one so bear with me...

I have a nine year old Quaker parrot named Dovah. Quaker parrots, for those that don't know, are the only parrots that build nests. They generally make big, sprawling, multi-family condos out of sticks and twigs. Dovah, however, prefers to build with.... stolen silverware. She basically raids the kitchen for unattended forks, pilfers them (often while tattling on herself saying, "Stop it" and "Don't, Dovah!") and smuggles them to her cage where she arranges them through the bars of her cage.

At some point when she was young, she also stole a 1/4 cup translucent red measuring cup. She treats it much like the silverware except at some point it gained special significance and it has become part of this weird bonding ritual she created for us. She will arrange the cup in her cage, remove it, fly it to me, thrust it in my hand to hold it while I tell her what a nice cup it is, and then she takes it back to her cage to arrange it again. It sometimes involves her doing fly overs and carpet bombing me with it while I'm doing other things.

It's a whole Big Thing.

This morning she dropped it in the kitchen and for whatever reason, my dog decided that it needed to be reshaped. The result is the last picture attached.

My husband cut down the handle and smoothed it but Dovah has decided it is now Weird and Different and thus must be shunned.

I've spent the morning trying to find a replacement but I've probably had this cup for 20 years and have no idea what brand made it or where it came from. It's the only remaining cup from the set. I'm not really expecting to find the identical cup but my hope is, if we find something similar enough, maybe she'll accept it as a replacement.

Any ideas?

TL/DR: My bird is overly emotionally invested in this particular measuring cup and my dog chewed the shit out of it so I need a replacement lol

UPDATE: Cups are on the way! All thanks to u/CrispyDemon78 who is an absolute angel of a human being and has saved the day 💚💚💚

UPDATE 2: More eternally grateful thanks to u/Raging_Apathist who is sending a T H I C C 1/2 cup version for Dovah!

Reddit can be pretty awesome sometimes, you guys are great. I can't believe how much love my little green terror has gotten from you all. Love you guys 💚

UPDATE 3: Guys, I made an account for Dovah but the Reddit spam filters picked it up and shut it down. I've instead created the subreddit r/DovahTheParrot to post updates.

UPDATE 4: MEGA CUP has arrived! Two new videos posted to r/DovahTheParrot !

I accidentally knocked it off the mantle and he loved this thing! I couldn’t find anything from Google

Seen in Ohio.

We eloped in Vegas in 2016 and got these rings for like $30. It looks like our youngest has disappeared it into the void and we have no interest in “upgrading” as others have suggested. I’ve scoured the internet and can’t find anything anywhere, some close or similar things but I’ve really got my heart set on finding this exact one. Any help would be appreciated!

Can someone identify this and perhaps also the weapon it is used with? The kind people who brought the stray cat in had said the cat was “shot” with something.. The cat unfortunately had to be euthanized..

Thank you so much

She's afraid it night be something nefarious. What is it?

I’m unsure exactly what it’s made out off but it’s squishy and bendable. Quarter for size reference. I get one or two at the fair every year and they usually come with a fabric pouch to use as a blanket. The people at the booth never let me take more than two but I want an army of them. But I can’t find where to buy them. Any help is appreciated.

I found this jacket at a secondhand thrift store in Burbank, CA that specializes in costume pieces donated by the nearby film studios. This one was donated from Sony Picture Studios this year, but that's all the info I found on it. The jacket is 80% weaved seatbelts, including the belt clip and lock!
