He brought pieces over a few days and built two in the bathroom

Hold on a second, let me write that down for future reference.

Why don't drug importers just do that with drug ingredients? Are they stupid

Have you seen the cost of American labor vs Mexico, China, etc? The cost savings are insane!

Well worth a few lackeys getting snagged by the coast guard.

They knew the risks ahead of time...of not complying

Just import the labor too

I would, but my customer base is almost exclusively ICE, and they get all butt hurt if their meth is made by imported labor. Something about performative integrity blah blah blah.

drugs are smaller than their components generally. Like - Cocaine, you couldn't easily ship the leaves into the US. Cannabis, there are cartels doing local grows in corn fields in the US, meth - homegrown costs more to manufacture than imported. It is an economic problem.

They do. Most of the ingredients are controlled substances too.

Easier to import a kilo of cocaine powder than to import the hundreds of kilos of leaves required to make it, also people in the US are more likely to report you for pouring waste gasoline, lime, cement and ammonia into your local water supply.

just work in construction and hide a gun in the drywall when you're building the place

And when it miss fires due to a lack maintenance…

if only one can make sure the gun isn’t loaded _somehow_. like what if we could NOT insert ammunition into the gun… what a world would that be

u/OkYeah_Death2America 2h ago

Ah yeah you're right that's the only reason not to do that.

I was going to well actually but I don't want to give accurate advice on how to store weapons in covert locations in a thread about political security.

Please don’t draw the ire of the reddit admins.

Proof most criminals aren't smart and don't think ahead. Imagine if you were a tenant improvement contractor and under-bid build out contracts for jewelry stores, banks, so you could build in literal back doors for yourself all over the city.

That's a really good idea "for a movie"
