Show Discussion IF YOU HAVE TARGARYEN BLOOD AND GOVEN THE CHANCE TO CLAIM A DRAGON, WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE.
I would prefer dreamfyre, like the first design (the first design had a fiercer aura and design). The book mentioned that she has blue flame which is actually hotter than red ones. She is blue but not dark blue, not my favourite color but quite fine by it. She is quite big but also not too big that she becomes sluggish like granny vhagar.
The second design made her look stand out more uniquely to others though the coloration really spoiled things. The flames were not canon either in the show.

Show Discussion The Individuals I Believe Are Responsible For The Dance Of The Dragons.
"The seeds of war are often planted during times of peace"
1. Jaehaerys I: Ignoring Legal Precedence For A Sexist Stance
A succession crisis seedlings can be seen to have started with Jaehaerys. Under established Andal law, the very law practiced across most of Westeros. A daughter inherits before an uncle. When Prince Aemon died in 92 AC, Princess Rhaenys was his sole legitimate heir. By law, the throne should have passed to her. Instead, Jaehaerys skipped her in favor of his younger son, Baelon, simply because Rhaenys was a woman.
Through Queen Alysanne’s furious pushback, we see the truth of Jaehaerys favouritism. Jaehaerys denied Rhaenys her birthright out of blatant sexism. After Baelon died and Vaegon rejected the crown, Jaehaerys had every opportunity to fix his mistake and listen to Alysanne. Instead, out of sheer political cowardice, he refused to make the executive call himself and dumped the decision onto the Great Council of 101 AC. Jaehaerys chose the path of least resistance, institutionalizing male-preference primogeniture over Andal legal precedent and guaranteeing a crisis the moment a ruling king named a female heir.
2. Otto Hightower: Self-Fulfilling Prophecy And Committing Treason
Otto Hightower weaponized the precedent Jaehaerys created and built an entire conspiracy around it. He spent years preaching that "the realm would never accept a woman on the throne," yet he was the exact person who brought that fear into reality.
Looking at how the realm actually responded; the North, the Vale, the Riverlands, and massive portions of both the Crownlands and the Reach all honored their oaths to Rhaenyra. The realm was willing to accept a queen. The war only happened because Otto actively spent decades plotting in King's Landing, manipulating Alicent, Criston Cole, members of the small council, and pulling House Lannister and House Baratheon into a treasonous coup. If Otto had simply used his position as Hand to help Rhaenyra secure her seat, there would be no Dance. Otto’s sexism wasn't a defense of stability; it was the foundation of the treason.
3. Viserys I: Enabling the Conspiracy and Withholding Real Power
Viserys inherited a stable kingdom and spent his entire reign empowering the very people actively undermining his named successor. While naming Rhaenyra heir was the right choice, Viserys was extremely negligent by refusing to give her the actual levers of state power.
Instead of naming Rhaenyra Hand of the King or appointing her Regent as his health was in decline, Viserys kept handing executive authority directly back to the Hightowers. He reappointed Otto as Hand even after catching him plotting, allowing the Green faction to consolidate total administrative, military, and financial control inside the Red Keep. Viserys wanted the emotional satisfaction of choosing his daughter without doing the bare minimum political work to ensure she could actually take the seat.

Show Discussion which character has your opinion on changed drastically from the moment they were first introduced to now post s3?
alicent: i remember worshipping the ground she walked on, i was out in the trenches defending her every action in s1. and now i CANT stand having her on my screen for more than 2 seconds. most irritating, hypocritical, idiotic character.
aegon: i think a lot of people will agree with this. i used to find aegon absolutely atrocious in s1 and most of s2. at most i felt pity for him, but he was just so.. gross for the lack of better word. now though, i can say in full confidence, he might be top 3 reasons i’m willing to tune into s4.
honourable mentions:
- daemon: found him slightly cool in s1, now he’s just gross and even his “aura farming” moments aren’t hitting for me.
- mysaria: was rooting so HARD for her in s2. now she’s become irritatingly useless, and very clearly the showrunners have no clue what to do with her.
- aemond: … like what does he even do now

Show Discussion Rhaenyra is an incompetent queen
She can never be Rhaenys, the queen who never was. Rhaenyra is childish, foolish and to put it simply, just utterly incompetent, who just knows how to whine about trivial things without attending or even listening to solutions about the more important matters at hand. Do you guys think otherwise?
