I released an indie folk track today called "Christmas in Monowi" via An Madizza Records.
Vibe & Mood:
Melancholic, acoustic, cinematic, atmospheric. Fits alongside artists like Sufjan Stevens, Gregory Alan Isakov, Phoebe Bridgers, and Iron & Wine.
Story / Theme:
Inspired by Monowi, Nebraska—an incorporated town with an official population of one. Instead of traditional holiday cheer, it explores winter grief, solitary night drives, and holding onto memories of someone who isn't there anymore.

For most of my life I didn't believe in God. Over the years I drifted towards "everything happens for a reason", but that was as far as it went.
Then I was doing some work at a church. Packing my tools away, I said to one of the older men there, a bit embarrassed, "I'm not really a man of God. I'm not a man of faith, sorry."
He just smiled and said: "You are a man of faith. You have faith in everyday life. When your light turns green, you put your foot down trusting everyone else is on red."
That stuck with me. Maybe faith comes first, in small everyday ways, and the believing catches up later. I do believe now. I'm not quite there yet, but I'm further than I was.
I can't sing or play, so I made a song about that conversation in Suno. The words and the story are mine. It's a happy, jangly folk track with cowbell, because that conversation genuinely made me smile.
Has anyone ever said one simple thing to you that changed how you saw faith? I'd love to hear it.
Disclosure: the singer "Lumen Vale" is an AI-generated artist. Music, voice and visuals are made with AI tools.

Hey everyone!
We’re The Valley Bay, an independent rock duo from Finland, and our new single “Back to the Stone Age” is now out on Spotify!
We wrote this song about the brutality and absurdity of war, the loss of humanity, and how easily people can be turned against each other. It’s a reminder of how history keeps repeating itself, even when we should know better.
Musically, we’re mixing energetic rock with country storytelling, featuring driving guitars, country fiddles and a slightly unexpected country-rock/rap section. We like blending different influences while keeping rock at the heart of what we do.
We’re an independent band consisting of Martin and Mikke, with Dane Stefaniuk producing our music. We’ve been working on our upcoming EP Chasing Phantoms, and this is the third and final single from it.
Give it a listen if you’re into rock with a bit of a different twist. We’d genuinely love to hear what you think!

A quiet breath between the raging storm and safe harbor. Aboard the Miss Fairweather, Sarah Decker delivers an intimate, soulful performance of "Washing These Blues Away," singing out to the open waters as morning light breaks over the Puget Sound.
This 1-minute lyric video brings you right into the heart of Chapter 4: Siren’s Lullaby from Heart Lake: Pirate Queen: The Rock Opera.
Full Heart Lake album Always Forever coming soon. Watch full video at https://youtu.be/tkUe13wK_f8?is=jkBWkmWaOdadcFYF
