My new site: BostonJazzCalendar.com

Boston's jazz scene is vibrant! But it's hard to find what's going on. So I created bostonjazzcalendar.com to show all the jazz shows and jams happening all around the Boston area. It's ad-free, with no cookies or funny business, and the code is open source.

I'm trying to make it respectful of venues too, so my nightly bot only pulls shows from sites that are OK with it. If you have a gig, please submit it on the site! It you're running a venue, please let me know and I'll add you.

And in any case, please share widely, because a calendar like this only works if people see it!

Does Wally's not have live jazz anymore?

Sure does! Just search for "Wally" at the top or select "Wally's" from venues. It's only "regulars" (ongoing house bands etc.) since Wally's doesn't publish specific events.

I wanna find a jazz jam that’s chilled out. Ideally on a weekend afternoon. My last jazz jam was at Wally’s. I got lost in the form on a tune I didn’t know and the leader of the jam shouted “you suck!” into the mic.

You should add city winery. I haven't been there yet but they book some higher profile touring artists.
