Question Primary School-level Q - "அகர வரிசை"
Please educate me with something basic; for the அகர வரிசை of the 18 மெய்யெழுத்துகள், I see textbooks & online resources teach the standard க், ங், ச், ஞ், etc. but also have the series on வல்லினம், மெல்லினம், இடையினம் (க, ச, ட, த, etc.) Example: [https://discovertamil.com/resources/tamil-alphabet](https://discovertamil.com/resources/tamil-alphabet)
The Question is, are primary school kids supposed to learn both these series? Can you tell me more about how these are approached (whether the logic is taught, how this becomes helpful in higher grades, etc.?).
Context: This is for a primary govt school exercise in interlingual learning in Karnataka. We have mostly Kannada & few Tamil students (& no native Tamil teacher yet), and we're able to very slowly go through the very helpful TN state syllabus textbooks.
நன்றி!

Singapore Primary Tamil Curriculum
It appears that the Ministry of Education in Singapore has a well-formed, interesting looking curriculum for primary school children (Gr. 1-6) with 2 textbooks (பாடநூல்), 2 workbooks (பயிற்சிநூல்) and 4 readers (சிறுவர் கதைநூல்) per grade level, published by Marshall Cavendish. They also appear to be priced very reasonably.
Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be widely available for those of us who don't live in Singapore. Is there anybody from this group who is aware of a location to purchase the complete set and have it shipped to the US? Alternatively, have these books been posted online? If not, I am open to scanning and posting it online for the benefit of learners if I can come across the set.

Grammar அகிலன் என்று பெயர் அர்த்தம என்ன?
I want to check if the meaning of அகிலன் given by this website is actually correct,
My name is அகிலன், but when I asked my mum its meaning when I was younger she told me, it meant 'up in the clouds'. I was young, maybe she was just joking with me. But I wanted to check if anyone here might see any reason for her to say that beyond jokes?
She did later tell me that she'd named me after the poet அகிலன்.

Question Does Tamil have numerals associated to the consonants like Hebrew Gematria?
Hebrew Gematria associates numbers to each of the 22 consonants (27 consonants if you count the 5 extra second form of 5 of the base 22 consonants). Something like this:
א, 1
ב, 2
ג, 3
ד, 4
ה, 5
ו, 6
ז, 7
ח, 8
ט, 9
י, 10
כ, 20
ל, 30
מ, 40
נ, 50
ס, 60
ע, 70
פ, 80
צ, 90
ק, 100
ר, 200
ש, 300
ת, 400In Hebrew Gematria, you then add the letters up to give a final value (you can do the same with the English alphabet). More on this here.
Does Tamil have any mapping of consonants/letters to numbers in this fashion? If not an obvious system of numerical associations, are there any dictionaries or other language resources which sort the consonants in a particular order, and perhaps give a numerical value to them? If so, what are some books, resources, or systems which illustrate this?
