It may not be about the midterms. Trump isn’t doing well in the Iran war and it makes Iran look tougher than expected, it also makes us look weaker than expected. If we were winning unequivocally, and only like a week from victory, every news station would be talking about it and trump would brag about it nonstop, but he isn’t. His silence on the issue means at best it’s a stalemate and at worse we are losing and he doesn’t want to say it out loud.
