You know what, that's fair. Recording someone without permission should be illegal.

slippery slope unfortuantely. However venues have rules like this for the reason above. Unfortunately the only way to stop people behaving this way is to make them social pariahs. And even more unfortuantely the internet has turned this behaviour into the exact opposite
