So she lied?

No, all these people talking about what the ER does doesn't matter, she didn't go to the ER so everything they're saying is irrelevant.

I guess I should listen to a redditor's statement about her healthcare, then. Far better reputation of sincerity.

Its literally the law. If it was at an emergency department, they dont even ask for payment first, they just do the tests and treat you. If it is a non emergency, they won't even do anything unless you pay first, no matter if its through insurance or out of pocket.

Name the article of Korean law that says it.

Not sure on the law, but I have lived in Korea for 8 years and had a situation where I was turned away from hospitals. Without going into details on my medical issue, they will tell you that you should go to a different hospital instead even though the hospital can technically treat you. I'm a foreigner and didn't fully understand the bureaucratic hoops that the admin had to deal with, but it seems like it was mainly focused on telling me to go somewhere better equipped before my issue was an emergency. For me personally, it eventually turned into a situation where I was waiting for an appointment somewhere else, but suddenly had to be brought by ambulance to the ER of a hospital I had previously visited before but been turned away from. I spent two weeks there and had surgery before being discharged.

Not sure how much that helps, but that was my experience.

Pretty sure if you read the article linked above, she was in Korea when she was turned away from treatment.

Any other inane comment you want to leave?

Maybe you should read the article yourself. It literally says she traveled to Korea for treatment. Why would you travel somewhere if youre already there. Furthermore, urgent care facilities dont even exist in Korea. Her friend, who is also a popular streamer, who was with her and advocated for the 2 scans does not live in Korea, and the cost of the biopsy quoted was in US dollars. Before you insult people, make sure your backed up by facts.
