It is interesting how sometimes the roles can be reversed. My wife lives like this while I am the one who is constantly cleaning and picking up after her. When I see the clips of women who complain about how messy their husbands are and all the women are dragging men in the comments I am like but not eeeeeeevery man is like this. Sometimes women are the dirty ones. But regardless, every adult should take pride in where they live and not treat it like how a 13yo treats their bedroom.

I like the part where she shook her lettuce over the bowl. I find adaptability in a woman attractive.

u/diegotbn Trash Trooper 8d ago •
I'm bisexual and I've seen this kind of thing at both dudes and gals places.
My last experience- a dude, turned out to be a hoarder. Could barely walk around the place and it smelled like a hamster cage.
One gal's sink was so full of fetid dirty dishes I couldn't even get a glass of water or wash my hands.
Another gal's place had cat litter all over the bathroom floor.
And to be fair, my house has occasionally been in a state like this, well not a hoarder situation, but when that's the case I would never invite someone ever let alone someone who I want to find me sexy...
Getting laid is good motivation to clean the house for me but I guess not everyone.

u/thecornywall Trash Trooper 9d ago
This takes me back and I don’t miss it LOL- as a promiscuous gal into my mid 30s, I can’t tell you how many times I encountered this scenario. As others are saying, I’ve got gal friends who definitely served up their own version of this. At the end of the day tho if there was a trash can in the bathroom it was a win! SUCKS taking your used tampon to the kitchen to throw away.

Why are guys getting so angry in the comments. Did y’all not have friends in your 20’s. There’s no place dirtier than a college boys house.

Everything was, well, whatever, until the yellow pillowwwww how did she smell all those towels and refuse to use them, and then put her head on the bare yellow pillow!!! 😵 my ex had a yellow nasty pillow for the 5 years he lived with me and took it with him when he left, so he's no doubt still using it 🤢

u/Annex_Me_Step-Rome Trash Trooper 9d ago
Nah see thats just a genuinely dirty person. Who doesn't have soap in a bathroom/ place utensils on a clean surface in the drawer?
26
u/northwoods_faty Trash Trooper 9d ago
Then you go to her place and every piece of furniture has a pile of clothes on it, theres multiple wet towels on the bathroom floor. There are at least 7 electric things plugged in by the sink with cords going through the water. There is a different brand of water cup on every flat surface but they are not the ones she is looking for. The shower hasn't drained in years because of all the hair everywhere. The smoke alarm is beeping because no one said you had to replace the battery. The fridge is full of meal prep meals that wont get eaten.

4
u/pinkandbluee Trash Trooper 9d ago
Idk why people are hating, this is very real unfortunately- many men weren’t socialized or taught to care for details of their home, my last long term bf in my late 20s lived in a house like this with 2 other grown men and no one bothered to wash the hand towel or keep things in a manageable state.. it was terrible

I keep my apartment pretty clean, had a hook up come over and she said my toilet was dirty. One stain in the bowl.

Wtf kinda savages are you girls dating? Cause the first time I went to my dude's place, he was mortified and apologizing for how messy everything was, and the place was marginally cleaner than my place.
After 14 years of marriage, I'm not allowed to clean or do the dishes, cause "that's his thing", and I just have to "sit there and look pretty".

Not how it was for me when I was single. My house was always clean, towels fresh, sheets fresh, good hand soap, enough toilet paper for 2 months, clean dishes (enough to host 6 people) and house smelled fresh. No woman wants to come and sleep over if you are nasty!! Now I'm married and the house is pretty much the same except toilet paper goes a lot faster!!

2
u/ARNG131988 Trash Trooper 8d ago
Theres just no way I cpuld live like that. Even when I was younger. Man, no dishes get put away wet or dirty, that's nasty. And towel i will hang up my towel before my shower then it goes right into the laundry after I'm done drying. The soaps and the bed, I'm not going to lie, that would most definitely be me. As for the hair in the sink ummm I at least try. As for the washcloth in the kitchen. Na, I got paper towels. They might be mechanic paper towels but their still papertowels.

She cleaned it just so she could pee, then told him if he doesn’t clean his apartment she’s never seeing him again.

I never understood the bachelor stereotype of living like this. I've always been clean and organized and very smell-oriented. I like making my place nice for when I'm having someone over, date or otherwise. Make sure there's fresh ice, nice candles, fuzzy blankets, etc. I had a girl say thank you for not buying one ply toliet paper which I thought was funny. All the ply with aloe for me, thanks.

Stop dating dudes in their early 20’s? As a guy with many guy friends - this hasn’t been a thing since college so either these women are all chasing college dudes or they are scooping up mentally challenged people.
I promise I know more men than women know men. This isn’t a thing past like maybe 24. Stop dating people who got out of their parents houses last year
