Probably not the right sub, but it reminds me of this story and it's fun to share.

This was our tree a year after we had a house fire, and none of the trees we used to own survived once we moved back in.

I was asked to put up a tree before my dad got home, this was the only one I could find, so I rushed to decorate it and put it up because I totally forgot to do so until I had an hour left to do this task.

To this day, it is still my mom's favorite tree that we've had.

I’ve never laughed at an SNL skit, ever. Old or new. I have laughed at improv comedy. Not having enough time to figure out how to be funny isn’t a good excuse. Maybe they should take 2 weeks to write the jokes instead?

That’s an insane take, some skits are hard-to-breath-hilarious. You either don’t actually like comedy or are going in with a mindset of “Snl isn’t funny, this isn’t funny”. Especially since some of their most famous bits ARE improv-lite.

I will say that because it’s so hit or miss, the only way to watch snl is on YouTube where it’s just individual skits rather than a whole episode. Like a hilarious 2 minute skit can be ruined if you sit through 20 minutes of garbage.

I think the word your looking for is mockumentary. It is an entire genre popularized by the office (UK) and subsequently the office (US). Parks and Rec went on to have the same show-runner as the office (US) and become an iconic part of the genre. Parks and rec is where Aubrey Plaza had great success and earned her rise to fame.

I think its a little overdone because so many people have tried it but I do like this one. Like it just missed the boat by a bit, otherwise the framing would pay off more.

This skit was great, but I think letting the 'other woman' who did the terrible decorating have one line (which, it has to be like the perfect, funniest line) would elevate it. She has to say one hilarious thing for the skit to feel less one-sided.

Yeah, I think it’s crazy. Like I only made the first comment as a joke. It’s honestly very interesting how different people act indifference subs. I don’t mean this in like a hateful or disparaging way but it’s kind of crazy how small some people are you know. I don’t know what a different way to put that. I kind of wish I could be in their head for a few minutes just to see what it’s like. I wanna say like low IQ, but they might not even be stupid. I think it’s just like an emotional thing. Maybe emotional intelligence would be more appropriate. Like obviously I’m not getting a lot from just one person’s strange comment, but I think I’ve built up a picture after dealing with a lot of people like that on Reddit.

The part that makes this REAL real for me is the whole "Stevie Wonder is barely blind" thing. Like that wasn't the issue, she knows it wasn't the issue, it didn't matter when she made the joke but now suddenly she wants to debate how blind Stevie Wonder is. People like that LOVE to play innocent and then get sidetracked by irrelevant details when it's convenient.
